He looks a lot better than I thought he would. He needs his swirly chest hair though. Megatron is always best when he has his swirly chest hair. -Ralph

Very decent of a retailer to politely advise customers of a potential QC issue and to offer refunds. Top marks.

Ooft. "Please don't attach the silencer." A figure shipping with an accessory that can't be used. That's not a win. That's the opposite of a win. Oh dear.

2 attempts they've had at a good Megatron and they can't manage it.
Mines being delivered tomorrow, I'll let you know how bad it is.

Mine is also arriving tomorrow! Problem is I'm saving it for my birthday later in the month - it will be a difficult 19 days! Kapow have done a great job customer service wise with the disclaimer/notice and nice that they offering a refund option (though I'm sure they will have other customers that want them!) but it's a strange time we live in when we are advised not to transform a Transformer. I guess we can blame Brexit, Trump or the death of Bowie.

It might just be a paragraph of rage accompanied by a picture of me crying. Say what you like about the first MP Megatron but at least those scary thin bits were die cast

I thought the same but was given some good advice from a Hubber. It's going to rot eventually, you might as well get some play out of it.

How much is this new Megs toy that apparently it so badly made retailers are having to offer a refund option?

£160 if you pre-ordered. £190 retail, IDToys had it tonight and quickly sold out.

Fucking hell.
Seriously, if a toy is known to be badly made surely the £160-190 could be better spent elsewhere? I understand there are *cough* other options for Megatron toys of that style.

It's only become known in the last day or so.

Yes but when at least two retailers (Chosen Prime and Kapow) are offering refunds due to the issue why still buy it? I can understand still wanting it anyway as a robot display piece at, say, £50 but not at £160-190. That just seems like pissing money up a wall for a pre-broken toy. Perhaps it's best to wait to see if a replacement fixed figure is produced?

Megatron was delivered yesterday and I have an opening in my schedule this afternoon. Wish me luck. From a lot of the discussion I've seen, damage has been where people are trying to transform him without instructions... so stick to the instructions like your life depends on it!!

It's ok, I'm a stickler for instructions on anything above deluxe size and I even use them for deluxe and below the first couple of times til I'm used to the transformation.

Nowt wrong with that. I use instructions every time for any toy. I'm too afraid of breaking something otherwise.
