I don't actually remember Star Fleet that much... Is it with the ships that combine into a big robot and that...?

See! It can't be good if you can't remember it.
VOTE NUMBER SIX.

One might almost think people might be wilfully voting against their preferences for the express aim of winding you up.

But but but it is the thing with the ships combining into big robot and and and... A big white furry alien...?

I've voted 'sausages' here, 'cos I really haven't watched enough of either program to make and honest assessment 'n'that.

No no I have, just not enough to make a choice between the two.
Star Fleet... did they run around in bird costumes, and stand on each others shoulders? Or was that something else?

And was there a big fluffy white alien creature, who was blown out an airlock in the last episode?
Oh er, spoiler alert....

Have you seen the proper Prisoner? Not the remake?

I have only seen proper, wasn't even aware there was a remake.
Does the remake make more sense? 'Cos if it does then that's rubbish!

Post by The Doctor on Oct 16, 2016 19:20:40 GMT
The remake attempts to give an explanation for what going on yet in doing so it somehow makes even less sense. It also suffers from strange casting decisions. Ian McKellen is in it, who would have been inspired casting for Number 6 but is instead Number 2. The chap playing Number 6 was so devoid of screen presence I can't remember his name!

I remember really struggling with that, but was determined to get to the end. Wasn't worth it. Best Prisoner follow up I think is the DC comics mini from way back when.

It didn't do much for me and neither did the novels. I would have picked up BF's The Prisoner but not at £40. It has to go on sale sometime!
