I agree on the foul and evil nature of onions in hot dogs. Or anything actually.
Hmm... I might have to try the hot dog option out at Five Guys...

My hot dog of choice in Cineworld has jalapenos on it. (And mustard and ketchup.)
But it cannot compare to an outdoor hot dog slightly burnt black on the surface. With onions.
And mustard.
And ketchup.

A correspondent asks me to share this picture: Shall we have a close up of the tasty snack he's devouring outside, perhaps at a farmers market where you can buy such things? However I do see that our recently married Chum appears to have forgotten the onions! Bad M!

This picture must be photoshopped, this thread proved it is impossible to eat a hot dog outside!!! It was baked potatoes that can't be eaten outside! Hot dogs are not eaten at fireworks displays! They are only eaten in cinemas. -Ralph

We went nowhere near a cinema. We bought, ate and delighted I consuming them outside. Mrs M was even chilly during it so we had cups of tea as well.

I find it very disconcerting that the sausage doesn't fit the roll.

I only recently purchased a kettle for the first time in my life. This was only because my abode was without a heating system for three weeks and so I needed to be able to make hot water for washing myself with. Now I have heating again the kettle sits idle. I may give it away.

For me the kettle is a vital piece of kit/ Kettles can be used to create hot water for so many things - making tea and coffee, making gravy, making jelly, reconstituting packet soups, pre-heating water so it doesn't take so long to cook pasta or rice.
Also, Kettle the Wonky Robot was a vital piece of camouflage to conceal the hideout of the SpaceFleet Resistance when the Mekon took over Earth with his army of Electrobots.

I dont understand how Ralph has never owned a kettle By having not purchased one, due to a lack of requirement spawned by not being a major drinker of hot beverages in his home I would presume. After all, not everyone has spent half their life fueled entirely by adrenaline and caffine like I did. (Before I had to be taken back to the factory for a massive service life-extension program. And you don't want to know the number of structural deficiencies that caused which they had to fix to re-set my lifetime flight-hours!) Karl
