This beautiful set has arrived quicker than anticipated. The hope of having it picked up and shipped from the U.S. being cheaper than buying from UK sites that have imported it from the UK didn't go as planned, as it ended up costing £48 all in for this set. I now expect it to show up on some discount store/site in the near future for about £20.

I definitely need to get one of those Tri-Popes - he's just too ridiculous. Now to just wait and see if any of the figures show up here after Wave 1. (Says the man waiting on a Battle Cat and a Teela.)
What's slightly disappointing is that there's no Teela in the line-up of toys for the new show - which is a surprise given that it seems from the trailer like she has a prominent role. I'll not get too worried yet since an Evil-Lyn and Ram-Ma'am are also shown, so it's not as bad as it could perhaps be. Although there are still shades of Hasbro's "only room for so many female figures per line" thinking there...

Any chance you fine fellows have mp3s of the Masters Of The Universe storybooks to match the Transformers ones? I never had them myself although I think my Dad once read and recorded himself reading one for me. This was after my parent's separation so I can appreciate his motives now!

I have no idea about the MP3 files, but they are on youtube. This account has many of them.

It is nice to see that many of those retailer leaks have been revealed, but I also see many that haven't been officially revealed such as the Horde Trooper yet.
I did order the Power-Con Grayskull accessory pack as well as Sun-Man earlier. Not something that I was expecting to be able to obtain, so was a spur of the moment purchase as the Grayskull set was much cheaper than I was expecting.
Hopefully that Revelations King Grayskull set will be easy to obtain in the UK, with it being a store exclusive. I still hope that we will see Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella He-Man and Skeletor further down that line.

I would have liked to get that Greyskull accessory set but was at work when it went online for a few minutes before selling out.

Ooh John Grant! I don't have any MOTU cassettes. I'll be having a listen to these!

Ooh John Grant! I don't have any MOTU cassettes. I'll be having a listen to these! They are very good. They are on par with the Ladybird TF canon. HE-MAN MEETS THE BEAST was a favourite back in the day. -Ralph

I have no idea about the MP3 files, but they are on youtube. This account has many of them. Thanks! I have a converter so will get on that. My son has just gotten wind of MOTU and is quite taken with the Horde Trooper Duffism1981 mentioned above so if that’s a new release coming we’ll be happy. I didn’t keep any MOTU from my youth.

So incensed by the idiocy of the British public and the lack of Daleks in B&M, I went and bought Revelation Evil-Lyn to calm down.
And Moss Man.
I wasn't going to get him, but I was annoyed.

I can't believe you'd go and panic-buy MotU figures!
Although given Mattel's distribution practices I think that "panic" is the only workable approach to collecting their figures...

Yes, they turned up a few days ago, but the knock on effect was wave 2 went from expected by October to expected: UNKNOWN.
I was thinking about these. I've always equated action figures to deluxe class Transformers, probably because Black Series SW tend to be about the price of a deluxe. But when two 'action figures' ring up at £50 on the till it makes you think. These Revelation figures equate to Voyagers - but I can't decide if that makes them expensive or not for what they are. In contrast, the whole Origins line seems really cheap.

Origins is a very good price point I think. Revelations is certainly a little steep but the ones I have feel pretty solid.

Over the pats two weeks Snyths have finally had Masterverse Evil-Lyn and Moss Man show up, as well as Origins wave 6 of LOP Beast Man, Stinkor, Webstor and The Green Goddess, now known as The Eternian Goddess.
Some very weak man found them on a pallet at work and bought them before the even hit the shop floor.
Disappointingly Stinkor doesn't have a unique smell, Instead he just has a slightly stronger smell of platic that is very, very weak. I have yet to open Webstor or The Goddess at this moment, but Beast Man has very little paint and could at least have his furry pants painted to break up the red, but the colour scheme of this figure is based on this piece of concept art. I do like though how it looks like he has a wrestling belt along with some Eternian styled Legion fo Doom shoulder pads.

Wave 2 of Masterverse has now started to show up in Smyths. I found all four on a shelf at work. I am surprised that someone managed to burst a delivery pallet and put these on the shelf yesterday without me knowing.
I assume stores only received one case so far with 1 of each figure per case. Bit Teela, Man-At-Arms, Spikor and Beast-Man are now in the wild.

Oh balls. Thats a hundred quid! I'm supposed to be using the presence of all the BW Transformers in generations to buy less, but now it's just going on sodding MOTU!

I remember when collecting toys was a cheap hobby... They're not toys though, they're adult collectible articulated models.
