Yes, I had hoped for something like that. The TF ones are, well, oh dear.

Too expensive for a figure that feels like it could have been scaled down to deluxe and worked much better. I'd sooner have a Blaster that's shorter than Optimus and Magnus and can interact with the likes of Straxus than one who can hold 'tapes' any day of the week.

Then you want the Device Label version. This will do for us who want a toy size one that does have tapes.

With Blaster traditionally being a toy big enough to store tapes (other than his AM incarnation) imagine the screaming fits of fandom if the TR version had not been made that way.

Yeah, and we don't want to forget the last Voyager size Blaster ended up with 'tapes' so small they really weren't up to much.

Tell you something, I'm still only on Condor and Jaguar as actual acquisitions this year. It's been 22 days since my last new Transformer. Biggest dry spell I've had for a long time. I'm starting to get a bit twitchy. If our import shops work through Hong Kong hope Megatronia is still on schedule and doesn't get held up by Chinese New Year.
On the plus side, spending well down on last year at the moment!

Last day of January, I'm now at 40. (ROTF Leader Jetfire, WST Optimus plus the job lot I posted in another thread)
Oh, 39 actually because it turns out one of the toys in the job lot is actually 3P.
No, it's 40. I've just bought Prime Laserbeak.

I nearly picked up Blastwave in sainsbury yesterday, but shied away from the 18 quid price tag. He looks top.

I like his Bludgeon-yness but of the 3 I had in my hand in Smyths it's the only one I didn't get the urge to buy.

I have no idea how much I've spent on toys this year. Mostly due to Jo buying a large number for me prior to my arrival in Singapore, and then me paying for other stuff to compensate. So... realy... since that's stuff I would have bought her anyway... I've spent close to nothing. Yes... Yes that's right... *repeats that to himself*

Huuurgh. I'll kick myself if I buy those and this wave reaches shops here. The prices are all just on the high side. I may have to go for Sky Shadow anyway, in case like Sixshot he doesn't appear here. I wanted to go ID Toys though for free postage but they're out.
Surely this wave will be around a while. BBTS don't even have them up for pre-order yet.

I'm not taking the risk anymore. IDToys did say they'll have them back in within a couple of weeks and should be getting restock of Sixshot.
