I... I was going down a dark alleyway for a time there.
An attack where, although not forced, may have resulted in me winning Rook for Bishop. But it left my King very... drafty.
So, Knight a6 or c6? Such a tiny, massive, difference....

I've been looking at this all day. I'm beginning to realise things: one, I need to think a few moves ahead but in trying to do that I can always see how you will counter because what I'm doing is too obvious; two, it feels like the dam has to burst soon because there aren't many purposeful moves I can come up with that don't lead to an escalation in the play; and three, I reckon because of that line of defence you've maintained throughout the game that you like to play defensively and are waiting for me to make a mistake before showing your hand.
In the meantime I still need to make a move!

I can't bear the disappointment Shockers suffers in this thread any more! I know nothing about chess, have probably never played a proper game, but I can remember how the pieces move. I even stole a board from CHILDREN (which was mine anyway admittedly) to try and see what was going on here. But nothing happened. So... so... D4 Oh! I'll just be... off. I guess.  |
