So is this replacing the RID comic, or running in parallel? Seems odd to launch this now, a few years down the line and when there's not currently episodes on.

Unless it's a case of there being a bugger load of those crap photo comics for this as well, making for a cheap book?

Rescue Bots is on permanent rotation on Tiny Pop.

I assume it will run alongside it for a while, if they can get the pre-schoolers with that, and then the younger kids with RID.

Shame there isn't a TF book aimed at a slightly older kids demographic.

#114 out 9/6/17 & Rescuebots have been in lots of issues - I've never picked one up so they could reuse the features.

Is it a Rescue Bots comic strip? That's a lot of story that hasn't been documented on the TFwiki. I'm tempted to buy a collection on ebay (if there are any), just to record details of these missing stories.

I flicked in an issue about a year ago - I think it had 4 pages of charcater profiles etc then looked in another & 2 pages. But you get them sealed so can't check.

Smyths have a free issue when you buy the toys - it could be the exact same has the comic anyway - i'll have to check

The paper used for #1 is better than that used for RID. solid cover & better inner paper, better form colouring. Still no subscription service - they don't do on any title. Profile Chase. ep 1.1. Why do they have Servo & beast mode in, they could have saved them for the episode issue to tie in. If they do everything in order. 2 mini posters, 4 pages of colouring, they must have had RB stuff sent to RID for letters page. Blades to the rescue. Competition. #2 23/6/17

If the comic last out in the format it'll finish on #104. Dec 2025. Reader survey in the issue £3.99. #4 out 31/8/17. I wonder if any overseas Transformers fans going to TFNation pick this up?

The current format being #1-3 having episode 1-3. So if it did continue like that to the end then (they should keep it monthly) #104 would be the last. But I don't really think it would last that long & think they may only do 13 of a series. At least they keep everything in order unlike RID that keeps jumping all over the place.

I missed the first two issues, so enquired about back issues. They were very helpful. I had a quick response to my email, and the woman when I phoned to place the order just now was very polite. The comics should be posted today.

The magazine has certainly not been cancelled. Issue 5 goes on sale on October 6. The magazine is on sale every month, and while we try to mention when the next issue goes on sale, sometimes due to last minute schedule changes we can’t. We only create smaller covers for Tesco and this is because they have smaller shelving than other retailers. The actual content of the magazine is the same. However, when the magazine is in a polybag, then the size of the magazine covers are the same in all retailers.




Apologies for not getting back to you regarding your previous query, but we skipped adapting episode 4 of season 1, as it was a rather tricky and complicated story to adapt. We however have adapted this episode in one of our other magazines, Fantastic, in which we license Rescue Bots every month.

So this means no issue for Sept17. But how often the episodes are in Fantastic - this could cut it down. I don't pick up this comic so don't know what they are on right now & if they are running series 1.
