Megatron is a triple changer From vaguely tank-shaped thing to vaguely bird-shaped thing to humanoid shaped thing and back! Karl

Quite like that. I continue to find myself inexplicably attracted to Megatron figures.
That Rumble looks like he's got Bruticus' head.

Rumble is tragic enough in box mode to appeal to me.

I do actually really like that Megatron - I like the general aesthetic of the Cybertron-mode Bumblebee movie designs. The only real problem for me is that I already have the perfect Studio Series movie Megatron, and that's the one from Dark of the Moon. Do I really need another one that's more G1-like..? I'll have to wait and see it in the plastic.
The rest are okay, apart from Scorponok, who's a disaster. Nice to see that they are remembering more tertiary characters, like Mohawk, and what a time it is to be a fan of Transformers with motorcycle alt-modes - I don't think we've ever had so many available.
What is a bit odd is that this announcment includes two characters who never actually appeared in any films. Whilst this isn't without precedent, with that Thundercracker from Nitro Zeus, it still feels a little bit weird considering the number of characters that still aren't represented in this line...

I like that Megatron but I hadn't realised it was Leader size. Bit too pricey.

Oh, no argument there. The only thing that's stopping him from being a perfect pre-Earth Megatron is the lack of a proper black helmet...

Can't decide if I like this one or not. I have been trying to get all the G1 cast in these designs just because they're nice updates, but Siege Shockwave was really nice, and I'm not sure I need this. Also his head is too wide. On the other hand that makes it the perfect homage to Barry Kitson's renderings of Shockwave. So I'm torn.

The head doesn't bother me, but the massively overcompensating gun arm is a real turn off.

I quite like the odd head - the mono-eye surrounded by what looks like a half-dozen other sensors kind of seems apt for the Decepticon Military Operations Commander - he's forever gathering data to support tactical analysis on a hundred different wavelengths. The gun arm is...odd - it does look very like it came from a different robot and has been kit-bashed on.
The alt-mode is...well, it isn't. Like a most of these designs Shockwave wasn't designed to transform at all. They've had to move all the bits about and see what shape they can make from it. This is just a bit less successful at that than Ratchet was...
I'm not inclined to get this to replace my legend sized Shockwave, which is still one of my favourite Shockwave toys after the original. Vaguely tempted to get it and dub it as Lazerwave, Decepticon scientist and rival/acquaintance of Shockwave. On the other hand, the quad-mech design they've rereleased recently in Earthspark could work for that, and has the added utility of an actual alt-mode...

I'm very tempted as a one off, you know. It's very hard to resist a Shockwave.

I'm still trying to work out what that alt-mode is supposed to be. The closest I can envisage is that it is some sort of Cybertronian equivalent of a large antiaircraft gun - (88mm Flugabweherkanone) or artillery piece (like the US M1 "Long Tom"). Which I guess would be fairly appropriate in either case.

I think in terms of design flair, the Beast Hunters one is the best of the two. Although I note from these newer pics that the gun arm does fold in a bit on the new one so it isn't quite as unwieldy looking as in those first photos.

The had being pushed so far back makes this Shockwave look like he has a giant mono-boob.

Agreed. Well, about the head being pushed back at any rate. I think these pictures are hiding that.
But then the head is well back from the chest on the original too.
