Cool! That was like I was really there!
Surprised by how much Rescuebots stuff there was; we haven't heard much about the academy in all the current news.

I was listening to the podcast release of the brand team interview on the way home tonight. I love those and there is always a few snippets in them that seem to get overlooked, or at least I haven't seen elsewhere. I'll listen to it again when I've got something to hand to write down notes, but two things stuck out: 1. Message understood regarding stickers. They were a G1 homage and will be ditched for WFC, which will feature a new method of detailing to help with the 'gritty realism' of the toys. I read that to mean things like paint sprays to suggest dirt, or battle damage. 2. (This really excited me given our lengthy discussions) The question was asked as to whether Hasbro have a technical internal term to describe the relationship between figures that share parts, but go beyond being just remoulds - they call them 'partial moulds'. www.tfradio.net/2018/02/17/transformers-brand-team-interview-toy-fair-2018/

So the unofficial but hasbro preferred term is Partial Remold.
Huh. I don't think it adequately describes what's going on (especially in a case like Jazz), but it's simpler than any other way.
Personally, Partial Remold makes me think of changing a few minor details.

Sorry, my head's all over the place atm trying to work too. It was Partial Tool.
As in, some parts are reused, some parts are new toolings. As opposed to existing moulds being remoulded to have new features.

Okay, that works a bit better. And it turns out my brain auto-inserted "re" into your "mould"

I am laughing at myself how excited I am we have a Hasbro approved name for that type of toy.
