Does anybody know how many issues of Secret Wars were published by Marvel UK?

Secret Wars and Secret Wars II rang in at 80 issues. It's the same title they just changed the name to Secret Wars II as of issue 32.

Andu is indeed correct. There was also one annual and a few Collected Comics.

Browsing through some of the comics yesterday, I saw a Secret Wars II Epilogue in, I think, the last issue of Spider-Man and Zoids. I've bought a lot of Marvel UK comics over the last year or two and am finally starting to read them. I read the first ten issues of The Thing Is Big Ben yesterday. I've pretty much rebuilt my Spider-Man and Zoids and Thundercats collections, which I had back in the day but cleared out at car boot sales years ago. I've also got a good wedge of Action Force, which I never bothered with at the time, even though I enjoyed reading it in Transformers. Plus, a load of Overkill (the 1990s' anthology series that included Death's Head 2), which I bought in a charity shop about eight years ago but have yet to read. And, of course, Transformers, which I haven't read in ages in the original form. I'm thinking of reading all the titles alongside each other, so I can see the progression of the company at the same time. Unfortunately, while going through my comic boxes, I forgot to take out Micromasters to have another read.

I ended up with a complete run of the UK Secret Wars comic when I was getting some UK Transformers comics. Only just started reading it and that secret artist artwork is great. A completely different take on Marvel characters.

Yeah, the Secret Artist stuff was very distinctive. The 'Daiy Bugle' pages were fun too. Some great originated covers for the series too.

I'm pretty sure he snuck his signature in a few of the drawings.

Just hauled 21 issues of the old monthly Marvel Superheroes title that I didn't have off of eBay. That's 21 issues of the Avengers I don't have. Result.

As well as my first TPB of the year a bundle of Marvel Superheroes arrived today.
I got 353-355, 357-367 and 369-375. The main reason for buying them was the Avengers therewithin - 159-161, 163-173 (bagged a cheap 174 off of eBay tonight) and 175-180 which takes me up to the start of Byrne's run from which I have the issues right up to 278 (Under Siege)
It's good stuff. I'd forgotton there was some Perez in there. More importantly I'd forgotton there was a three issue Byrne run and you know how much I like Byrne.
The sharp amongst you might twig that the issue increments for MSH don't match the Avengers within. That's cos MSH 373 reprints Avengers Annual 7 written & drawn by Cosmic Jim Starlin and killing off one of his favorite characters.
Oh yeah, I'm happy with this haul. And that's without taking into account the original X-Men backup strips which I've not read (shortly to be reprinted in Essential Classic X-Men 3) or the variety of second backups including Ms Marvel, Champions and Super Villain Team Up!

MSH was a black and white title wasn't it?. I never saw the Avengers Annual 7 one but the Marvel Two In One annual was reprinted in Marvel Rampage in black and white and looked gorgeous. A friend let me borrow his copy a few years ago.

My adventures in back issue land have resulted in a package of doubles of Rampage & Marvel Superheroes going north of the border. Please regal us all with tales of their worthyness.
Meanwhile....
Having got a little side tracked from the task of tracking down the Marvel Superheroes issues I don't have I seem to have bought some issues of Rampage. These are absoloutely key to UK comic collecting as they provided the mainstream UK comic buying public with the New X-Men. Not doing too badly, the project is ongoing.
Another run of Marvel Superheroes plugged a couple of gaps and even gave me one of the MSH issues with Moore/Davis Captain Britain in it ! (the first in the Trade) Got 3 more issues with Davis CB in the post. At this rate I won't need the CB HC !
The same lot dumped a number of issues of the UK Marvel Team Up weekly on me too.
And finally - nearly 27 years after it was published in the UK and advertised in the Star Wars magazine - I have the Rom Summer special - it's a complete reprint of 25 and bridges the gap between 2 issues of the UK SW mag which jump from Rom being beamed to Galador to Rom and his double standing there with the other Spaceknigts as Galactus aproaches.
