Those both look really good. Oddly, the robot modes look more like Generations figures, but the vehicle modes definitely look like Cyberverse-range toy cars - although that's probably just the lighting/editing on the photos. Either way, though, once again I must curse that these are not inexpensively available in UK stores.

Soundwave vehicle mode looks a dead ringer for the Authentics one in B&M. Well the Authentics are based off the Evergreen designs, of which a lot of the Cyberverse designs are stylised variants of, which is why they look so similar. Ratchet's another one whose Cyberverse and Authentics toys look pretty much the same. |

No, this is to tie in with the "TV movies" that were announced last year (or at least I'm fairly sure it is). Pretty sure this is the last gasp of the line before Hasbro goes off in a different direction with a production company that's even cheaper. Or something. (I actually don't know, I'm just cynical about their recent moves. Not surprised, mind you.)
Some interesting listings there, although I am, of course, once again disappointed that there's no deluxe Windblade. After all, it's not like she's one of the main characters or anything... Maybe there's hope that she'll turn up in that "roll and combine" assortment.
Which leads to the following question: What *is* this roll and combine assortment anyway? I'm hoping that it's not going to be another go round of the Crash Combiners, or if it is, that they'll actually be good this time, like that third party line (I forget what they're called, but Gav has a load).
And that also leads to the other question: Why am I allowing myself to care? We'll never see any of the good toys in the UK anyway...
