The codes are intriguing, especially Sideswipe being 10 and Prime 11.
WFC-S1-3 = 3x Battlemasters?
WFC-S4-6 = 3x Micromaster packs?
WFC-S7-10 = 4x Deluxes?
WFC-S11-12 = 2x Voyagers?
WFC-S13 = Ultra Magnus?

Hound and Sideswipe look AMAZING. Optimus Prime's not bad either. Ironhide looks very interesting, odd they've gone for a Cybertroniany alt mode with him, but Earthy modes for the others....?
I hope for the love of all that's pure and holy that Starscream is voyager and, you know, not utter shit like the last one. And they don't mess us about with giving us all three Strike Planes (heck, all six?!).
And I'm so excited about this Prowl I may actually die. If he's anything like the others.

They're all supposed to be Cybertronian alt modes, Shockers. It's just some look more Cybertronian than others.
From the magic code numbers it does look like there's a voyager Scream in the second wave. But it'll have an alt mode somewhere between the first cartoon episode and the T30/WFC look.

I mean, when has Hasbro ever left a line incomplete? *looks at his Titans Return Sureshot and his PottoP Waverider, Stranglehold and Longtooth* Okay, I snark (shocking, I know), but we can hope. Let's just hope that the line isn't cut off halfway through again... But on to the reveals... I remain... lukewarm about these. The whole "All 80s, All The Time!" thing still continues to unnerve me - especially given that with the main characters, we're going back to '84/85 pretty much, and no further. But at least we're getting the Micromasters. The big question is, as has always been pointed out: Where are the Decepticons? Well, on the artwork. It looks like there are some Tetrajets there. So that's re-assuring. Although I'd really like to see some actual toys. Ah well, something to look forward to at NYCC, I guess... Also if, as was also theorised up-thread, the Leaders are going to all be smaller robots with armour, will now be the time for the Megatron-into-Galvatron that they utterly failed to give us with PottoP..? I do of course fully expect to get a Starscream with armour that gives him a shoulder pads, a crown and a cape instead, but a god can hope, can he not..? |

Ironhide looks brill. Especially since he’s also gone a bit off script with his alt mode. It does help that my collections been on an Ironhide kick in recent weeks with the MP and Hot Soldiers versions turning up.
All in all I’m incredibly excited so far, if only slightly tempered by my lukewarm response to Power of the Primes once I actually had some of the toys in hand. I hope these don’t ultimately have the same feeling of cost cutting.
