Yup, comparison with the other entries does reveal that's the assortment codes for the size classes.

Pretty much what we were expecting, but I'm glad of the confirmation that the deluxe S isn't Starscream.

Right, so is Skytread going to be the Legends Battletrap duo remoulded and sold together? Dropping that class means those two moulds won't be reused unless they did something like that.

Two legends costs more than a generations deluxe. It's more likely skytread will be a retooling of, or just simply the decepticon version of Cog.

I don't want that to be right, but it probably will be. Also completely concur with all the concerns re:Generations. But oh well. I'm sure it'll course-correct in a few years' time...

Two legends costs more than a generations deluxe. Sadly true, It'd be annoying that it wasn't using the same idea as Battletrap though! It's more likely skytread will be a retooling of, or just simply the decepticon version of Cog. I think we can rule this one out: Cog is in the same wave and Hasbro don't usually debut a mould and it's repaint/retool in the same wave (CW Fireflight/Airaid, POTP Swoop/Cutthroat, Slag/Sludge, Snarl/Sinnertwin, Rippersnapper/Blot and Moonracer/Novastar for some recent examples) However.... I could see Skytread using a similar concept, with the Jet & Tank breaking apart to form weapons, like Cog's Gasket & Grommit do, then coming together to form the combined robot. I'd never really seen Cog as Battletrap & Flywheel's Oppo before but now I say it, it's obvious he's the Duobot to their Duocons.

I think it makes sense. We know Cog is a robot that breaks into pieces to armour up other figures as well as having his own alt mode. We can also guess that this figure is going to get remoulded/painted into Six Gun in a future wave. So there's no reason why the Decepticons wouldn't have an equivalent. If Skytread is one he will be his own mould because as Phil says, Hasbro have yet to break this unwritten rule that they don't use the same mould/remould twice in a wave (CW Dragstrip being an Aerialbot is the clearest example of them refusing to do that).
So we can posit that there is a Decepticon Weaponizer mould in the offing. The Autobot one is going to fill in the figures missing from Metroplex and Fort Max, but we don't yet have a Scorponok Titan, so there's no point in doing Fasttrack because that's just rubbing salt into the wound. So I can see whoever is masterminding this wanting to do Brunt to go with Trypticon in Six Gun's wave, and he's a nondescript tank. What other figure that breaks apart into pieces that has a tank involved could go before that to come out in the same wave as Cog? Oh well, we've just done Battletrap, so why not do something that approaches Flywheels as a KIND of partner but isn't quite? Yep, okay, call him Skytread because that's the name we used when we KIND of did Flywheels as a Titanmaster, then if we need to we can claim it isn't Flywheels at all. So that would give you Cog & Skytread in wave one, then Six Gun and Brunt from the same moulds in wave two or three.
In that way I can see Phil's logic.

I hope they do Fast Track. After all, we *did*+ get a TR Scorponok.

If the Midtown listing is the street date (Dec 31st) then going by the last couple of years Kapow will probably be shipping them out first week of December. That would match the timing of the reveals we've had so far compared to previous years too.

I wonder if Kapow will do a big All In preorder for wave 1 like they did for POTP? I believe they had their fingers burnt on that when the Leaders were delayed and are unlikely to do it again.

I'm putting my house on Jetfire and Megatron being movie figures. Certainly if there are only three leaders in this line, it makes no sense to have Megatron as a Voyager and a Leader, but conversely the Magnus is an obvious candidate to be remoulded into Prime. I'd rather have a new Jetfire, but I agree, that's a clear movie favourite character likely to feature in the Studio Series line at some point.

Some interesting photos from one of the latest Japanese toy mags showing how big the Micromasters and Battlemasters are, about the same size as a Primemaster Decoy Suit, and the first picture of Gasket & Grommit separated:

I can't believe the original Micromasters were that big!!!!!!
I hadn't got mine out for a while and I'd not had them next to the Prime Masters or Decoy Suits!
