Or to explain why Bumblebee's very VW Beetle robot mode had wheels on his feet.
Near as I can figure, the few toys that have "hover modes" (optimus is the only confirmed. UM and Sideswipe don't), the wheels likely fold down Back to the Future style.
I admit I could be mistaken, but as Hasbro nor Takara has ever shown off this "hover mode," nor bothered to explain what it is, it seems as good a guess as any for lack of information.

The new Micromasters we've seen look very nice indeed, very tidy looking figures. Thought they warrant their own discussion, for a time at least.
Which other characters do you think they're likely to do, and which characters would you hope they do?
Will we get these Micromasters bases you guys are always banging on about?
Just how far will they take THE MICROMASTERS?
Could be fairly far, 'cos they must be on the cheaper side to produce, being small 'n'all.

The Leaders this year don't look like they have the feature and I can't see any for Siege. Maybe for the next line if Micromasters continue.....
