Sixgun Sixgun's got 5mm pegs on the big red guns. Can't see any of the Metroplex gun handles anywhere. So you'll need a couple of these: Fort max metroplex gun sword holder by jay13057 on ShapewaysMine needed a bit of building up inside to properly grip a 5mm peg. There's some 5mm pegs on Metroplex's forearms, and there's more elsewhere on the body for the rest of the stuff.

Oh wow, he's fantastic. Just plug the back of his lower legs with a nice tidy 3P add-on. I love the detailing. Love the head, body and arms. And what a car mode! Oh man-a-live. I... I need to lay down...

There is one clear and absolute winner here. Possibly the finest thing I have seen from Siege so far...
Big kids like me love robots, we love dinosaurs, and we adore terrible puns. Pteraxadon is all of these things and he turns into a large double-bited axe that other toys can swing around. Yes, please! My definite must have from Siege.
Six Gun is ok. Not a bad rendition of the original toys aesthetic. Something about the fact that to transform it ejects all its limbs and basically turns itself into a Core Fighter makes me laugh. Good that he has standard-sized pegs so his various parts can be used by whichever bot in one's collection is most in need. A shame that the arm guns end up looking like extra arms attached to another 'bot. Still has potential as a purchase for an accessory pack for other 'bots. But more in a "wasn't too expensive and I had spare cash" way than a "need to get that".
Prowl fills me with the same feeling of "meh" that most of the rest of the line has. It is just another Prowl, with a generic wheeled blob for an alt-mode. I definitely feel that Siege is not really a line for me. I will cherry pick a few of the smaller toys out of it, but other than that nothing is really looking particularly interesting.

Addendum - Pteraxadon's axe mode also has the virtue of looking wonderfully oversized for a deluxe toy. It has that over-large, over-complicated and over-powered weapon look which I am coming to find amusing when done properly. (Swords with the proportions of surfboards are doing it wrong, it needs to be cleverer than that). It is in that kind of large-scythe-that-can-fold-up-to-large-furled=umbrella-and-is-also-a-gun kind of class. Or the big-hammer-that-is-also-a-grenade-launcher-and-can-be-used-to-rocket-jump kind of special nonsense.
I hereby predict that Pteraxadon will end up being referred to as "Crescent Apple" by me on many ocassions (Well, it isn't red so it can't really be "Crescent Rose"...)

What does the Cybertronian on the side of Prowl say?

Pteraxadon also looks like he has an unshown gun mode - see the peg at the top of the axe. Use that as a handle with the axe handle serving as a barrel.

I think this toy is pretty much as oversold to me as it is possible to get! Looking at it again I can't believe I missed that. It might also be possible to rotate the axe-heads as well to change it's look in gun mode. Dear Hasbro/Tomy - more of this sort of thing please. Karl

Think that Prowl is pretty poor.
I can't see much of the Siege line finding it's way to Turnbull Towers.

This worries me a bit, front on you'll be able to see straight through his legs. There's a Tron vibe going on with him - I reckon his transparent wheels are going to look a bit naff in hand. At least his battle damage is toned down a little from Sideswipe. I get what they're doing with the robot legs by matching the G1 rear window shins, but, Hmm. I don't think that's the Prowl I wanted in my collection. Six Gun is brilliant. Wish he was a Voyager so he felt more like the original and had components that would look more than just pop guns when wielded by Metroplex.

The see-through legs do let the figure down. No doubt a about that. But above the knee he is lovely!
I... I'm talking about Siege Prowl here.
Six-gun does look interesting. And the Axe dinobird is ingenious.

I think I agree with the general consensus now (his majesty above withstanding) that Prowl does indeed look bland, Six-Gun looks great and Pteraxodon is a must-get simply because of his name.

Somewhat surprisingly, it looks like there's a parts share between Sixgun and Sideswipe: the red tips of their guns look the same:

But but but Prowl is black and white! He's always black and white, he's always gonna be a bit bland, colour-wise.
It's all in the sculpt! And knees up this Prowl has a great 'classical' Prowl look. Actually quite beefy looking, not the slender look of Classics. The wide, proud car bonnet chest. The strong arms. The detailing here and there, like the markings on his arms and cod-piece, reminiscent of his G1 figure. I love the prominent square head-crest, chiseled facial features. And the car mode... gorgeous. Yes, Tron-like, art-deco, nice. Normally I'm far more interested in a Transformer's robot mode, but this Prowl's car mode... is just so succulent...
But, in the cold light of day, yeah the lower legs are awfully see-through. There is a prang of disappointment over them this morning now I've calmed down. Such a stark contrast to the upper body which I adore. Put Combiner Wars Prowl's lower legs on him and he'd be perfect. Maybe we can hope for some kind of 3P add-on to plug the back of his legs. That's all the figure would need. And some shoulder launchers.

I do like the car mode though. Bordering on an art deco vibe. Now I kind of hope Barricade looks like the Batmobile. IF Barricade can be customised into a transforming Batmobile, then his existence will be justified.

I have no problem with Prowl's legs, the issue for me is that he's just a scaled down Masterpiece with a different alt mode.
Which I don't need cuz I've already got the Masterpiece.
Same as the Sideswipe, actually.
If I didn't have them, I'd be very excited at these guys, but...

I personally feel that the Universe mold does everything this does, but better. It's more visually interesting.
It's not the deco as to why this prowl looks so bland. It's just not doing it for me. And you know, if Universe didn't exist, I think I'd probably be even more disappointed.

Oh c'mon Hasbro. Is it really that hard design wise / cost prohibitive / unsafe to hide Sixguns hands when his arms are detached?
Chucking this in the pot of worst exposed robot parts in alt modes along with Star Convoy's head in base mode, Star Sabre's head (even if it is face down) and Titan Metroplex's hands.

He's a cop car. He's supposed to chase them.Strange goings on in Dallas, Texas. Almost like covert Decepticon activity... but the Decepticons left Earth years ago... Earth Unit commander Jazz calls Prowl in to investigate. Jazz advises Prowl to adopt a more Earth-like alt mode, but Prowl likes his current snazy art-deco alt mode too much. Prowl investigates the goings-on. And sure enough, Stunticons! The Decepticons have returned to Earth! Using his powers of logic, Prowl knows he cannot defeat all the Stunticons at once, he must withdraw to raise the alarm. But the Stunticons spot him and give chase! Thankfully Prowl's acid blaster points rearward in art-deco mode, and he evades the Stunticons! But Prowl's satisfaction over his escape is short-lived. He knows what the return of the Cybertronian War means to Earth... And Texas...
