Rather unhelpfully we don't know for sure what wave EITHER of these are but there's a nice one toy shaped hole in w2 deluxe for Prowl to go in Whether they were making assumptions or not is another matter, but Kapow's FB post did say Prowl was Wave 2. |

This problem with Prowl's lower legs started me thinking. I was just looking at G1 Prowl and realised, actually, Prowl has never had defined feet.  I'd not thought about this but G1 Prowl's toes angle straight up to his knees, so the balletic tiptoe stance of the classics mould, and now this new Siege one, derive from that. They're both trying to mimick the angles of the original - which my head has always interpreted as being a limitation of the toy rather than an aesthetic choice. You can see it in Shohei Kohara's original Prowl character design too. Three toes on each foot sloping straight up to the knee. That's why the new Siege Prowl has these big booty feet. He has always had them!  |

Yes I've never really thought about his lower legs before. I suppose one focuses on the bonnet chest, head crest, policey alt mode. But yes you're right, Prowl has always had big 'Con stomping feet.

The feet have always been part of that iconic design for me. It's one of the reasons why I never took to the Generations mold.

Very glad to hear the positive comments on the plastic for Seige. It’s probably been my main let down from Power of the Primes.
Optimus does look good from the Baltmatrix review, but ye Gods he’s tiny in truck mode. I couldn’t believe that he was the same size as Gnaw.
