And Animated was only a store exclusive as that was the wave (along with Rodimus) that they were really struggling to get out to retail as no stores seem to want it (yet they all vanished off shelves quick enough!). A worse fate was met by Blackout and the Bumblebee / Prime voyagers which no Western stockist seemed to want so only came out in Japan. Animated was TRU exclusive wave 1, with Cybertron Ratchet, Rodimus was TRU Exclusive wve 2 with Cybertron Ironhide. www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/BW/TFA/index.shtml If memory serves we got the Arcee wave here and not Rodimus. |

So, as I was reprolabeling up my Novastar a few minutes ago, I realized that the backpack is a bit different on chromia:  The cockpit cover goes all the way down to what was previously the bottom of her feet. It's all one piece now, and moves onto the back top side out. Then I noticed the legs also now transform differently. |

Battlemasters:
Two Targetmasters are nearly exactly what you'd expect. Blast effects are meh. They don't really end themselves to being used by any TF because they're so strongly associated with another toy
Lioniser is fab, sword AND gun modes.
Micromasters:
hips are like plasticine! Pop off all the time. Both combined guns are rubbish, but cars can be used as individual guns. Sword is nice. Some of the TFs are more complicated than they ought to be, and some bits do not want to cooperate

Siege Sideswipe and Hound are OUTSTANDING. Solid, fun, great transformations, superb detailing, great plastic, puts PotP Jazz to shame. They have to be two of the best deluxes I've ever held. I think they're better than Prime and Megatron. If Prowl is anywhere near as good I'll be very happy.
...in fact, Sideswipe and Hound are so solid and look so good, I'm surprised Prowl's lower legs are so gappy... You don't think there's some miss-transformation going on?
