But I worry for his size. Still difficult to judge without DECENT PIGGIN' SIZE COMPARISONS!!!! I -think- he's going to be ok. Oh no he isn't. Size comparison to a standard Voyager in that video: All these Siege figures are coming in a little too short to work with the Prime Wars ones. He's the same height at the head as the Prime Wars Voyagers when he has all his armour attached! ie, as a leader he's even shorter than Siege Magnus! How can they claim this is a leader?! it's a new definition for the size class. Personally I still use classic Prime as my benchmark. But as long as you dont use CW Prime who is frickin huge I don't see anything to worry about with Prime.  Shockwave is a different, its just about okay. But they should have started with the voyager robot mode, made that big enough, then made the add on components to whatever size the budget then allowed. I can't really see a reason to have wound up with a smaller core robot than would work with the largest range of Classic/Universe/Generations toys possible. On balance though I'll take these significantly more solid, seemingly better articulated toys even if they do wind up a fraction smaller than the last line or two. |

I'm pleased that they're going to be completing the Elita One combiner team, but I do wish they weren't just using that one same mold for all the limbs. Some diversity wouldn't go amiss - they don't all have to be thin and curvy just to signify that they're female. A Strongarm out of Rook or something would have been nice...

Got the deluxes today.
The weathering effect is significantly better in hand, than in photos, or on the voyagers. I actually like Sideswipe's and Skytread's.
Cog is interesting, but not necessarily a positive sort of interesting. It's an interesting proof of concept for the weaponizer gimmick, but Cog himself is not great. All his parts are extremely awkward. He's a decent update of Cog, though. I think Brunt and Sixgun will be where the gimmick comes to life.
Hound is a bit of a mess, but not a bad figure. He's awkward himself, but an interesting transformation. He's nowhere near as good as U2 Hound (that toy has a lot of personality), but he's leaps and bounds better than CW Hound.
Skytread is fun. Interesting transformation.
Sideswipe is Sideswipe. No surprises, no unexpectedly intricate transformation unlike Skytread or Hound.
I don't think he's as half as good a toy as U2 Sideswipe, but I think he's a better looking Sideswipe. Your mileage will vary. I really don't like his back, though.

I equipped Hound with Cog, all three battlemasters, and all six micromasters, stood back and realized this is $85 worth of toys in this one small package.
And then I got sad and started questioning all my life choices.

Autobot Micromasters & Cog spotted in Trowbridge Toyshop yesterday. Didn't buy 'em. If it had been Sideswipe I might have buckled, but Cog without a toy to Weaponise seems a bit lame.
