Watched it five times now. I can hear that music in my head. And I'm making that sexy artificial lady-voice say all sorts of inappropriate things now...

Yeah. Ok. Wow. Right let's see. Car mode is superb. Incredibly sleek. Surprisingly so. Generally, robot mode, thighs up, he looks GREAT. SO SO GOOD. Very Prowly. Very Siegey. Bit bland in places, needs a couple of Reprolabels perhaps. Ohhhh that head and face sculpt! Oh mama. No shoulder cannons. Booo. I love the broad proud iconic chest. Backpack looks nice. The problems is with the lower legs. Firstly he has skinny knees! Now, from the front, the lower legs look ok. The silvery leg-window detail is amazing. Prowl's often had these lower leg windows and it's nice to see something fancy done with them. From the outside angle the legs look ok, but a bit 'shifted back', like they need to be more forwards, longer feet to the front, if that makes sense. I'm also concerned he looks like he's wearing high-heels (that's not a sexist comment, I think high-heels are stupid no matter who is wearing them). But from the inside and the rear the lower legs look awful. So gappy. As gappy as my Transformers knowledge. I wish they'd have altered the alt mode or transformation in some way to fill them in. The gappiness and skinny knees do spoil the figure somewhat. I still hope for some kind of 3P 'plug-in'. That would turn a nice Prowl into a perfect one. I think he's better than Classics, on a par with Combiner Wars, let down as he is by the knees and legs.
Overall though, he's looks pretty good. I'm pleased and excited! I'd like to see him stood next to the other Siege figures, Sideswipe, Megatron, Optimus etc. What's the point of comparing him to Masterpiece Prowl?! (Never realised just how gappy MP17's lower legs are!).
Also- no weathering/battle damage?

I'm wondering if that's a hand painted prototype because the paint job on it is really rough, and as you say, no battle damage. However the addition of the paint does get rid of the transparent leg problem. Looks much better than the render. If there is a way to attach rockets I would imagine 3P will provide them. Reprolabels is a good shout as they've moved into adding small accessories to their sticker sets recently, like the extended smoke stacks for Siege Prime.

Genuinely can't tell if that damage is there in the toy pictures, or if those are just paint chips. Which is just rubbish.

Victory Leo needs to happen in this line as a deluxe weaponizer.
I mean, he basically attaches to Star Saber almost exactly how weaponizers default attach to deluxes. So it would be kinda cool to see Optimus or Sideswipe wearing Leo just like Star Saber.
Rename him Leobreaker for western release, which opens up Nemesis Breaker, Leo Prime, LioConvoy, and even Razorclaw repaints. Wouldn't snub my nose at Prowl/Lio Jr, either.

I can see your point but there isn't a huge amount of resuse this year, and a lot of unique moulds. I suspect this is in someways a book balancing exercise. I think we'd have seen this anyway, just this year rather than next.
All the Leaders have had repaints/remoulds - I think we raised the question of what Shockwave will be a while ago.

Well, there are four possibilities for shockwave
1) Energon Six Shot, which seems unlikely until you realize that that was repurposed as SG Shockwave
2) "Shackwave"
3) Longarm
4) Something we yet can't predict that requires having the toy in hand to see what retooling it'd take.
But up above, that said that there are only three unique characters, across two waves. So, that's kind of a vague statement when you think about it. Are they talking about characters, molds/toys, or decos?
Because each of those can have a different answer.
(Let's just chose a random hypothetical other mold: jetfire)
Optimus may or may not qualify as a unique mold. If he didn't, then there could still be a surprise Jetfire in wave two. Which also does not rule out a wave three of a straight repaint or another retool.
Is it actual character? In which we have all three now, but does not discount a same character repaint, such as SG Optimus.
Or are they qualifying this as unique decoes? In which wave 1 is UM and Shockwave, and Wave 2 is Optimus Prime and repacking UM or SW.
The latter comes up one short from PotP. That had three unique molds, three unique characters, and four unique decoes, across three waves.
The other two possibilities parallel PotP in a way.
