Makes me wonder where Aragon was supposed to be going originally. It's an obscure character, but so is Impactor, so was it a new Weaponiser in Wave 4? Or a single release for Hascon? Having two in Select and one left over just all seems a bit weird.

Probably just another select release.
What Im wondering is if he was added to the fan vote set because Hasbro worried two toys already available at retail wouldn't sell as a boxset with only minimal changes. Or did they worry 3 powerdashers wouldnt have enough appeal so it was decide the first would be added to the fan vote set and once people got one of them they'd be compelled to complete the set.

In my case I've got to buy that bloody fan vote set just to get the Powerdasher. I don't get why the fan vote pair need a boxed set anyway. To pay for the moulds? Retail releases would have been ample. Oh wait, Primal had a black version at SDCC didn't he. Maybe this was supposed to be an SDCC repaint set that wasn't ready quickly enough. That feels right.

I am indeed adulting. Not quite perhaps as much I should be, but I am. A lot of costs to come in the New Year if I want to keep my conjunx in the country (and on balance, I think I do) and they're already ridiculous right now - I'm not looking forward to finding out how much they'll increase in the hands of a rabid anti-foreigner government post Brexit... That said... In my case I've got to buy that bloody fan vote set just to get the Powerdasher. Are you saying you're not actually interested in the Impactor or Mirage, Pinwig..? |

In that set, no. I have no need of a transparent Mirage and my Impactor needs are served by MMC Spartan. I just want the Powerdasher.

UNNECESSARY. I'm not even sure I want the retail one, but I'll have a look. Classics M may not be a traditional looking M. but it's a design I really like. Unique.
At present I have Siege Optimus, Hound, Bluestreak, Sideswipe, RTS Jazz and Classics Mirage on a shelf waiting for Ratchet to fill the gap and complete the original UK 84 CHUG versions set with decent looking figures for the first time. I'm all about the perfecto CHUG Diaclone cars set at the moment. For some reason.

Interesting to see that the boxes for wave 4 Impactor and Mirage both say 'fan voted' on the front next to the window. This further makes me ponder the existence of the different versions in the 'fan vote' boxset.

I have the best possible versions of Prowl, Silverstreak, and Smokescreen, so the siege versions have been really meh. Barricade however is a must have.
While I would prefer it's colors to be more accurate to Barricade, and would prefer it oyt of the U2 mold, I'll take this in a heartbeat.
