And if you had a preorder for a figure fully paid that was before 01/06/18, but was delivered after that? So if you waited until release day to order a previous figure you can get the discount, but if you pre ordered on announcement (which is beneficial to them) you don't? 🤔

Oh I see. I don't really have a problem with that. If you look at it that way you could say, I bought a toy from you five years ago, why don't I get a discount? There has to be a cut off somewhere. It's about regular customers really; the window is seven months and is open from now until Feb.

The new Generations book has an excellent spread of photos on the new MP Prime in more detail than seen before (including the transformation sequence). It looks very nice but I still can't see why it costs what it costs. I can see how it costs more than MP-10 (extra parts, transformation looks intricate) but not Monster Price!
The alternate heads (damaged/dead movie version and Sunbow S1) do look good.

That still looks like a hand painted prototype. How weird. If I didn't know that was a release version, I'd be looking at it thinking, oh well, the real one will look better.
Such a shame Transform Element couldn't get a factory slot to run their one again, I'd have gone for that now.

It's very impressive that the side of the cab folds up into the leg and that the windows reverse to get the different vehicle/robot mode chest appearance, but let's be honest, this just feels like engineering for engineering's sake.

Busted Prime loose, no doubt he is a "Masterpiece", definitely over priced though. Got a small QC issue with mine with a pin not being inserted correctly, nothing major though. Couple paint blemishes which whilst unsurprising, are annoying.

I've arranged to return it, I couldn't be arsed putting in the effort to fix the pin, as I rightly shouldn't. Amazon will cover up to 12000Yen in return expenses as a cash refund and the rest as a gift card, should be enough though.
