Yes vote me!
Wait, what.. No thats not right.
I'm voting, I've remembered to vote and.... oh. My vote wont be a title decider this week. Thats a bit of an anticlimax.
Well I guess it drags him out of joint last place at least.
Poor Bluestreak. I don't think theres any question its a better engineered version of the same style of transformation as Jazz.
I vote Hound, he and Ratchet were the only two Autobot cars I got new prior to the 1990 classics, though I dont think thats the main factor. Hounds green, thats important. And it just has a different feel from the rest.

SOMEONE who posts here once told me the Strike Planes are not good toys!!! -Ralph That's cos they aren't good toys! The hands and landing gear are immediately lost, and neither can be stored well in the other mode, the nose hangs behind the head, and all three are the same toy in different colours! Never been that fond of the jets

Never been that fond of the jets One of the designers who worked on them was deeply disatisifed with the results of the toy and the unneccessary constraints that he had to work under that he set out on his next major project determined to prove that a lot of that stuff was unneccesary. Thus from the Diaclone jets we get the VF-1 Valkyrie, her child the original Jetfire and a whole family tree of descendants and cousins over the succeeding decades. I love the Diaclone jets despite their flaws, and in some respects because of them. They are also the toys that really caught my eye in Transformers, and without which I might never have been drawn to the line. Karl

And for the record, this was an agonizing choice between Skywarp and Thundercracker. In the end Thundercracker narrowly won out. I like both characters - one an enormous horrible jerk to his friends let alone enemies, the other a combination of a colossal knee-jerk snob and a peer-pressured tag-along - far more than Starscream (who _could_ be a good character, but so very rarely is). In the end what swung it was the tiny detail that Thundercracker's colour scheme, whilst not as sharp in contrasts as Skywarp's has the nice little touch of being a nod to real-life. (Not that anyone at Hasbro woukd have known that at the time much more than I did. But in retrospect it is a nice little touch - I like my Robot's in Disguise to be at least trying to blend in...)

Starscream the Mighty is the winner. It was the Strike Plane I had as a kid. It was on shop shelves for years so mine was bought a few years after it came out via gift money from a hospitalised family member. Therefore the memory of the toy has certain connotations for me.

You can keep the landing gear in the robot's cockpit. The hands are actually gloves which would be stored in the glove compartment when they are jets. (I assume jets have these).

Thunder. Thunder. Thunder. Thundercracker Ho! It's not the G2 version, you don't have to vote for it, but remember to vote! BAD PHIL! BAD!!! It's Action Master Thundercracker, Hasbro never bothered to release G2 Thundercracker. Why do you taunt me? My love of Thundercracker goes back beyond The Mighty AMTC. TC as he was simply known back then was the first Strike Plane I owned. I was given just the body along with a few other Transformers by a friend. I spent many months/years making cardboard wings for it and is the reason I was so excited to be able to buy AMTC. Even before that, it was always the shiney, lightly metallic blue plane that stood out in the catalogue pictures.
