Went to the Pulse page to check out pictures of these new tier rewards, only to find that there's nothing about them there - it's only on the Facebook page. Which... is a choice.

Just as a thought, what's a standard run for a toy? How limited are these?
Cuz even 14, 000 isn't a small number to me, but for a worldwide audience it probably is?

I was wondering the same a couple of days ago, just in relation to the Victory Saber release. 11,000 doesn't seem like a lot, but it's essentially a Titan class toy (given that these days cost dictates class - onward the revolution, comrades!), and I was wondering - were there ever more than 11,000 Trypticons or Omega Supremes made? It doesn't sound like a lot, but also... it is a lot. Would be interesting to know.

I've chatted with folks in the know about this sort of thing before in the past and I think it was 10k was the lowest run for a mass market retail toy. BC was lower, but I am struggling to remember the quantities discussed.

I think people at FP said similar, in order to sell something at close to retail price you need 10000+.
FP generally existed in the 3000-6000 range, hence the higher prices.
When those videos leaked about the conditions on the factories making Transformers (or maybe it was info from somewhere else), I did some maths to work out how many of the deluxe movie bumblebee featured had been made.
I cant remember what figure I came up with, it'll be on here somewhere. 100,000 rings bells but I cant remember if that was total or from one (of multiple) production line or a particular time frame or maybe Im completely mis remembering.

It was always quite damning that official fan club toys had such low production runs considering the club was advertised wordwide.

Oh don't mind me. It's just an inside joke around that scene.
In the nineties, the only part of star wars i actually liked was Oola (now Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian are things, so she's not the only Star Wars thing I like). I had a crush on her. That didn't bother my best friend/girlfriend who was biiiig on star wars. But what did bother her was that I didn't know what anything was called. Particularly the rancor. So calling it "The big orange thing that ate the green chick that I like" became something I'd say to irritate her.
(Well, while it's a joke, I still don't always remember what it's called and mix it up with the dewbacks and the brachiosaur things.)

It's a logical addition to the other recent releases - if you put that with the sail barge, the skiff and Jabba's Palace you've got one heck of a playset for the opening act of Jedi. Not something I have a burning desire for. I'll be in trouble if they do 6" scale playsets for Ep4 or anything Hoth related. I think an AT-AT is probably too big, but a proper AT-ST would be amazing. As would be the Mos Eisely cantina.
