I know it was big but it was just sooooo expensive for an oversized action figure. VS is smaller but theres so much going on for half the price. Ditto Skystriker. They also really failed to show how big the Rancor was. Theres like one photo of it holding a figure, but when thats the main selling point there should have been something to show how big it was in every photo. I just hope they don't use this as an excuse to ditch Black Series from future projects. Size is important - I was just reading the blurb for the Skystriker and it doesn't say anywhere in it how long the plane is. That's the one thing I'd really want to know. It's not just Haslab who sucks at conveying the size of the super expensive toys. Power Rangers ZAP (Zord Ascension Project) put up their $170 Megazord today, and the only clue to it's size is that it's "1:144 Scale." So what, is that eight inches? Twenty-four inches? Hasbro needs to do better with these super expensive projects.

Is that just some random website guy, or something unofficial from an official source, like the old Ask Orson? The language used seems like random website guy.

Adam is a 25 year+ veteran of Star Wars sites who has worked for Entertainement Earth for the last decade and a bit. He also runs 16bit.com. So while not inside Hasbro he's pretty close and an industry insider whose opinion is generally respected.

Next Haslab project - Third Sister Force FX Lightsaber: uk.hasbropulse.com/products/star-wars-the-black-series-reva-the-third-sister-force-fx-elite-lightsaber A bargain at a mere £459.99! And a limit of 5 per customer - this is going to sell out instantly! Actually, having been announced at some point last night, it so far has a massive sum of... 481 backers. I dunno why people wouldn't be clamouring for this. I mean, it's not like the character was only seen on screen properly for the first time last night or something, and so isn't really particularly beloved yet. And that this lightsaber isn't an iconic one yet. Or that this is more than the cost of Sunak's bribe to make us forget about partygate- er, I mean, help towards the cost of living. Um. Yeah. This is a bizarre choice, and there's no way it's funding.

Haven't seen Obi-Wan ep1 yet, but this is a variant of a lightsaber used quite a bit in the first season of Rebels - apparently it is a standard issue weapon for the Imperial Inquisitors which were introduced there - and I did glimpse it in the trailer for Obi-Wan I think. Amongst Star Wars fans the Double-ended Inquisitor sabre has a certain amount of mystique to it.
Me, I think it is about as silly as most double-ended lightsabres - so about the same as Light-tonfa, and less than the lightsabre's tied together to use as rope-darts/kurusigama that used to exist in the Star Wars universe. (I don't think they've been added back yet since the old-EU was declared heretical, but I could be wrong).
No, I don't want this. For less than the price of this I could buy two different display swords which I might actually be able to find somewhere to display in my flat. Unlike this...

Amongst Star Wars fans the Double-ended Inquisitor sabre has a certain amount of mystique to it. I was being slightly unfair - I was of course aware that it's been used by other characters in Rebels (just not Reva, as we've never seen her before), so there'll be more than no market for this, that's true. But only slightly unfair, given the price. The main thing with these double-bladed lightsabers is, indeed, where do you display them? I have enough problems swinging a single-bladed lightsaber in this house - a double-bladed one would be a disaster. Or end up getting me stuck. Indeed, back in the good old days when Play.com were stocking Master Replica blades for fifty quid each, I know people who got the Darth Maul blade, and then got rid of it pretty quickly when they realised it was pretty impractical indoors. So yeah, it's nice that this exists for people that want it. But since that's only 663 people so far, that doesn't seem to be enough...

Short of repurposing a wall rest for a sword the options are rather limited it would see to me. Also, yes - most enclosed spaces don't really give the kind of room to use something like that "properly". (Sure, you could do some staff techniques with it, but only if you were happy grabbing hold of the bit that is supposed to be made laser and burny...). It was bad enough trying to use a Luke forceFX saber in my current flat without smacking it off the furniture. One with a blade sticking out the handle.... Karl
