You can really see how much he was restrained with Transformers. The gloves are off with this.
Issue 4 was tops though.

It certainly feels like it's five issues and done. Pretty much looks like every Go-Bots concept is being thrown into the mix. Unlike certain other revivals it doesn't feel like sequel baiting or an attempt to get a franchise going.
#1 felt a bit like the old Eagle comic strips but it's went in its own direction since.

Read the final issue this morning. It’s a pity the series hasn’t generated more discussion. It’s been a real highlight each month for me. It’s retro presentation and just the wild, wild ride of the story have been great fun.
