What a Prowl! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT PROWL! The face/head make it. How can a figure, who is so different from the classical 'Prowl look', be such a great Prowl?!

I could have sworn we'd done the "which BW Prowl is the original Prowl?" discussion here and concluded it was the Owl but am unable to find it! It turns out we did it in New Toys For Old Characters: Your personal fave Prowl came to mind. Take his Beast Wars versions. The Lion Prowl, I can see what they're getting at with the prowling lion. But the toy looks nothing like him and once you see the Optimus head you can't unsee it and know it's meant to be a Prime of some sort. Where as the Owl.... There's the prOWL joke in the name for a start, there's some decent plastic colours, in either version, coupled with some clear plastic to make you think of lightbars, a head which looks like a beast distorted version of the original and an amazing bio to back it up. This morning I find the Alternative rambling explanation on my FB time line via a reply from someone I know, and was forced to put forward, in as polite terms as possible, that a) they're wrong and b) the explanation given is a load of fanw*nk. I expect a flaming will follow. |

What are you talking about? That's a clear and coherent explanation as to which Prowl is which, with no room for ambiguity, confusion or blatant plot-holes! Honest.

Oh yes. Very nice. May have.... oops, yep, had a little climax there... love the head lights on his chest, and the darker abdomen. I though CW Prowl couldn't be improved on! I was wrong.
