I suppose we could always say that if Cybertron was whizzing round the Galaxy at a decent fraction of the speed of light, then relativistic theory could have less time passing on Cybertron than on Earth.

I suppose we could always say that if Cybertron was whizzing round the Galaxy at a decent fraction of the speed of light, then relativistic theory could have less time passing on Cybertron than on Earth. Martin I'd happily except that logic, but it still means there was 5 million years of fighting between War Dawn and the Arks crash. OK cartoon cont, but I can never remember any of the comics timespan. I like the other ideas of how the war develops but the idea of transformers living for millions of years still seems silly. Look at how much changes in the 300 years between G1 and BW. It just makes the lack of change in the millions of year before look daft. Shorter timespan and more thought into the creation of new life would have really helped G1. The idea of Vector sigma providing new life could have explained why neither side was willing to abandon Cybertron and created a constant source of fighting. Whoever controlled VS could replenish troops. The Matrix then becomes (well already is in the cartoon) a link to VS and a portable method of creating new life. Instead the comic doesnt use it and the cartoon has it being lost for millions of years (again). Andy

Erm actually no. Putting the war into terms of a humans life Prime was on Cybertron during the war for the one or two days. He was asleep on Earth for the next 80-100 years. That must have been one impressive day for him still to be remembered.

I'm more worried about his insistance Grimlock be a Mega sized toy.

With the Animated design I could live with that or once, but with MP grims on the way I'd still rather not.

I'm more worried about his insistance Grimlock be a Mega sized toy. Ah we clash again, my old 'Grimlock should be larger' foe! Grimlock just 'fits' big. He has a strength of 10. His G1 toy was as large as Op and Megs (I know that really doesn't say too much- look at Soundwave). He's excepted as a powerfull, mighty warrior. So therefore I submit, logically, he should be AT LEAST voyager/mega, preferably Ultra. His MP incarnation needs to be at least as large as Op and Megs MPs. It makes sense, you know it does Phil! Go on! Say it's so! You know you want to! (Don't tell Phil I also think Starscream and the other Classic Seekers should have been voyager as well. I think he's forgotten 'bout that one.)

But here's the thing. Each new version of TF is now a reboot and as such characters like Grimlock are rebooted too. He may have been 'big' or have a strength of 10 in one incarnation of TF but not in another. And so on.

Not in the mind of Shockprowl!!!!!!
I guess- I guess? What am I, American? I suppose it's just all to do with ones own perception of a character, a personality. To me Grimlock is BIG BIG BIG.

Maybe Masterpiece Grimlock will be so big, he'll be spread across two releases. That is, MP07 will be his upper body and MP08 will be his lower half and the two sets will combine.

Hmm, yes Shockprowl, you do exhibit some symptoms of Americofandomism: a compulsive desire to collect all of a certain character, fixation on certain attributes, use of the term, "seekers".
A few simple questions should allow a full diagnosis. What is the definitive 1980s Transformers medium, G1 cartoons or Marvel comics? Is Pat Lee's art the best thing ever? Is Optimus a truck or a monkey? How do you feel when you see a flame motif on Optimus Prime?
(Graham, I believe they're saving that design feature for Masterpiece Movie Jazz.)

Oh no! Doesn't sound good for me does it? Let's try the test...
- Cartoon baby! Woohoo! - Pat Lee Rocks! Totally awesome dude! - Optimus is a truck man?! WTF? - Flames kick-ass! Whole 9 yards knock that baby out there for a home run hamburgers corn fed Greenbow Alabama etc...
Did I pass?
Oh and not funny re Jazz, Nigel, how can you make jokes about such things?! *snif*

The obsession continues...
Machine Wars Prowl now crossed off the list! Closing in on the 'complete' Prowl collection! Gunna have to wait a bit though to dive into Ebay. Overspent. Mrs Shockprowl unhappy.

Career- check.
House- check.
Pair of self-removing trousers- check.
Large inflatable wilderbeast- check.
6" Titanium War Within Prowl- check.
Well, that's that sorted.

AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
HE IS MINE!!!!!!
Arrived last week from a very nice man on Ebay. He's awesome. Just simply awesome. From the excitement of learning they were doing one, to the disapointment of learing they weren't gunna release him, to the joy of learning they were going to release him after all!!!!!
To buisiness. He's a typical 6" Titanium. There's good points, but there's stuff you'd wana change to make him perfect. Good points- articulation is great on this fig. Paint aplics are fantastic! I love the face/head sculpt. Best thing 'bout him is his alt mode! Don't mind no wheels, he's like a space ship or something! Really nice. Bad pionts- bit of a floppy waist. He's awefully wide in robot mode! I'm all for Prowl being a tough guy, but he does look a tad too wide really. Rocket launchers end up very high over his shoulders in robot mode, but this isn't a big deal.
So overall, I'm thrilled. I love my Titaniums as you know, and between this chap and Skywarp, I'm content. Oh, I'd love a Jazz, Wheeljack and Shockwave, but that ain't gunna happen. The fact that this fig is now in my hands, after it was off and on again, is as sweat as sweat can be!
LET'S HEAR IT FOR 6" TITANIUM PROOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I question your judgment in terms of what I take it to be the order of importance on that list.
CLEARLY the self-removing trousers would come before all else, would they not?

Oddly enough he's put a Prowl toy bottom of his list. I never thought I would see the day that a large inflatable wildebeest would be more important than a Prowl toy.

I thought Razorbeast was just a wild boar, while Wildebeest were more bison-shaped fellas.

Titanium Prowl continues to fill my every waking moment. Constant battle to keep Piglet's sticky fingers off him though, to say nothing 'bout the "Aren't you going to put that away yet?" or "I though your toys live upstairs now?" etc etc. Hu, toys indeed.
He had a battle with Showdown Thor last night. I know the scales wrong, but much fun was had by all.
