I started watching the drama about Marie Antoinette that was on BBC2 a while ago this evening. Lot of Hapsburg goings on there. Wonder if Shockers has seen this, I thought to myself, for now whenever I hear that word I think of the Ambulance Admiral.

Picked up a Japanese Transformers mug in FP today. It has Prowl on it. www.merchoid.com/uk/transformers-autobot-japanese-mug/Edit: Also prominent are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide and Sideswipe. Annoyingly, I thought it was unspoilt by Movie characters, but I _think_ I see Hot Rod lurking in the very back of the picture, getting his gun ready to shoot Prime in the back. Martin |

This toy looks like it's Prowl in his Earth years, not Prowl on Cybertron (or Prowl asleep under a volcano for 4,000,000 years). He could have used that shield to protect himself from Shrapnel's splinter grenade in the first UK annual, and then nutted him with the baton.

Yes, okay. So a statue of Prowl forced into an uncomfortable situation in which he has no choice but to fight. Even so, he has an acid pellet rifle. Not a blunt battering club! He fights tactically from range, not in the melee hand to hand.

I just gave you the story.
OK, long version:
Prowl damages his beloved acid pellet rifle and loses one of his shoulder cannons clubbing Limbo aliens ('Distant Thunder'). Back on Earth, Prowl acquires a baton for future non-lethal head-bashing scenarios. Prowl gets splinter-grenaded (TFUK annual). Ratchet revives Prowl to scare off the Mechanic ('Funeral for a Friend'). Prowl acquires a shield for future splinter grenade eventualities. Years later, Prowl is on a shuttle travelling from Cybertron to Earth, when it gets boarded by Constructicons. Prowl uses his shield to reflect Scavenger's gunfire back at him, and bashes the Constructicon's head in with his baton. The End.
