You fool! They'll shelf warm like only Inferno, Clawjaw & Cybershark could and you'll never see a Cyberverse Powerglide again.
Do you remember the price?

The new Smyths store in Falkirk has a truly mind-shattering amount of Transformers- DOTM deluxes, Wave 1 Voyagers, Leader Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime, along with ROTF Leader Starscream (repackaged US stock judging by the sound chip) and a load of DOTM Cyberverse stuff.
(More toys at one point in time than Falkirk has ever seen at retail quite frankly!

A quick check reveals that DOTM has yet to hit the local ASDA, alas.

Cyberverse Powerglide and Blackout were spotted in the Asda in Falkirk yesterday. Andy My ASDA had them too. They're TINY. For £9! Barely an upscaled Legend for more than a Scout, Hasbro are really taking the piss!

DOTAMAN has turned up in John Lewis. They charge full RRP, so £5.95 for Legion, £9.95 for Commanders, £24.95 for Voyagers. My eyes did water.

Now that I have been able to see them in the plastic, Commanders do indeed look like scaled up Legends rather than like Scouts. And for that price...no thanks. -Ralph

I can't see this going well for Hasbro. For those who remember it's very similar to the "doubling the price and throwing in a com chip" that happened with Star Wars Episode 1. I recall the sales afterwards with fondness

What were the prices? I saw a list at TFW2005 that indicated they had some cheaper prices on Action Sets? Did they have exclusives? the list says so and I think we suspect they may have the black Megatron vs BB 2-pack.

Man, that's still bloody awful £4 seems to be about right for what you get. I'd still be iffy at that price to be honest.

£5 or £6 I think. £4 is pushing it a bit!

I hate these new prices! If Hasbro needed to cut costs, why have the fancy packaging on the Cyberverse toys?
In my book it should be Legions 2.99, Commanders 4.50, Scouts 4.99 and deluxe 9.99 at most. It's not even like they have increased in quality or size either. The Legends/Legions are supposed to be pocket money toys like a Hot Wheels car aren't they?
On the plus side, it has saved me money as I'm not buying toys that I may have done at a reasonable price.

RTS Legends were 3! -Ralph Legends seem to have varied a lot depending on the strategy of the retailer. I think the RRP has been £4.99 for at least a year.

Have pcc steelshot or over-run been spotted at UK retail?

Steelshot has been seen in TRUs recently. Over-Run: no. The boxed wave before his only reached a select few online dealers.
