Is the Ratchet a new mold, it is TINY. I don't recall the Ratchet Deluxue in HFTD being so small.

The tfw podcast reported being able to find mechtech deluxes for a few cents under $10 at Walmarts (a few bucks cheaper than Generations/RTS0. Hang on...$9.88 according to our very own Toy-Fu. Sold here for £12.99...currently $21.24 in today's exhange rate!!!
Leaders are $44.99. BB and Sentinel Prime. Legends are $3.99. Commanders are $8.95. Voyagers are $18.77. Cyberverse Action Sets are £14.99.
More exchange rate stuff works out as the UK prices being equivalent to: Leaders: $73.5 (£44.99), Legends/Legion: $9.8 (£5.99), Commanders: $14.70 (£8.99). Voyagers: $40.8 (£24.99). Cyberverse Action Sets: $24.5 (£14.99).
Hasbro UK can go spin. The price-hike on DOTM is obsene. I'm not paying their prices.

Hasbro UK can go spin. The price-hike on DOTM is obsene. I'm not paying their prices. I know, it makes be bloody furious. I can understand some differences, but they've hiked the prices, whilst the toy sizes have shrunk. That's a double whammy of bad value. I imagine they believe they can get away with it because of the movie.

Well the only way to protest is vote with the wallet. Buy in sales only, or import or buy none at all.
There are price rises and there are prices rises but these are beyond the pale.

There were one or two of the DOTAMAN toys that I might have bought, but with the price hike I am voting with my wallet. The reduced sizes of the toys means that the price-to-value calculation has simply slipped beyond the critical line for me. If I see one or two of them reduced then I might consider them but for full retail they are simply not worth the money. (I've almost bought DOTAMAN Starscream twice on the same day, but put him back on the shelves as too expensive. When I am putting back quite well executed aircraft mecha without a mild pang then I know that it really has passed beyond a joke).

Seems like Ralph has the European version that just says "Starscream" and "Decepticons" Indeed he does. Mine however appears to be repackaged US stock (despite being obtained from Smyths) and as a result is more loquacious. Rather a pity, I think the clipped Euro sound chip is more entertaining somehow and I would rather have had that version myself. Karl

Karl I got a leader Screamer in Smyths 2 weeks ago. some said the full sentence and others just said a single word. i thought it was just low batteries so I grabbed one that said full sentences.

US stock of that toy has the full sound-chip. The European version has the clipped version. Both made it to the UK!

Thanks to post, popped up to TRU and they did have the Generations figures. Picked up a Thunderwing. Very nice robot mode and can hold a Matrix by his thumb! Hopefully this line will continue and we may get Warpath & Wheeljack.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I have both sitting here in my review pile waiting for attention, but I've got to do the rest of the first wave of Human Alliance first. Also seen in ASDA and Tesco IIRC. If you're remotely an Action Master fan you need to have Blackout for the Skorpulator hommage
