Siren is repainted as C-301 Goshooter tfwiki.net/wiki/Cab_(human)

Hosehead is virtually unchanged as C-302 Cab tfwiki.net/wiki/Cab_(human)

Nightbeat becomes the female C-303 Minerva tfwiki.net/wiki/Minerva_(Masterforce_human)

The Japanese versions hae a more cohesive theme as emergency vehicles but the clincher for me is how the annoying yellow bits in Nightbeat's roof become Minerva's sirens in her ambulance car mode.

In the design process. We know which ones came out in which country [although both Siren and Nightbeat were offered as mail-aways in Japan], Phil is trying to determine which colourschemes were designed first and which were the recolours.

To which, I present evidence that Siren was conceived before Go Shooter:


In the back of the Generations Deluxe book are a number of early design sketches, including this one of Siren. Looking much more like Red Alert, but showing that a Fire Chief car was prominent in early designs rather than the police car of Go Shooter.
