Why do you own a cat scarer????! Because they shit all over my garden and I hate the bloody things. I love all animals with a passion (which is one reason why I'm vegetarian) but cats? cats can fuck off.

Yes. Smug, self-satisfied bastards. Shitting all over my lawn. Eating the food I put out for the foxes. The ones that come round my way are so fat their owners clearly don't look after them. Pointless animals. I am SO much a dog person it hurts. LOVE dogs.

I've got some great videos from my wildlife cam of foxes creeping up behind cats while they're eating from the bowl and scaring the shit out if them. Except they're not great because that's more shit on the lawn.
Notably, the foxes do not shit on the lawn. They're very well behaved.

Sorry pinwig, cats are better than dogs as you don't have to pick up their poo because they pop next door to do a poo

Yep, I'm with Pinwig here. I bare them no ill-will, but they are pointless and anti-social creatures. Shit in the garden where my children play, and scare of the birds.

How can you both be so wrong?
I would fill my house with cats if Mrs M wasn't allergic to them.

I love cats. Never owned one, but had many cat friends, some of which have spent time in my house as welcome guests. I respect them more than other pets because they can be trusted to come and go as they please and don't obey orders. They run their own lives. My only reservation about them is they do take a toll on the bird population. But no more than humans do.

Can the poll be changed to "should pinwig let cats poo in his garden?"

In my life, hamsters have inflicted more physical pain and blood loss on me than cats. Martin
