We're on a web forum. I'm not sure there is hope for any of us. And yet, for following coherent, threaded conversations, nothing has bettered this format. Which is not me being a luddite, it's just interesting to see how human communication using the internet has changed over time into less useful methods that evaporate more quickly (by which I mean are much harder to come back to once you've lost track of them) |

To be honest I don't think I'd want the old internet back. During the 90s I was a web developer for a few years and it was a pain in the ARSE getting everything to work properly, and at that point you only had Netscape, Explorer and Opera to worry about.
