This Cybertron Starscream made me reflect that us Starscream fans were spoilt during this time.
From the highs of Energon, the fun of Armada, the chunky but articulated Cybertron, the uniqueness and delightfully smirking Animated, Classics needs no comment and the OG Masterpiece showing us that transforming jets really can be made with a clean undercarriage.

Offtttr. Sandstorm a Leader, my hairy ass. That will shelfwarm at £55 in this economy. Look, if they don't sell for £55 then Hasbro will have no choice but to do the sensible thing and start releasing Leader class toys with an RRP of £60. Price rises will increase until shopper habits fall in line with Hasbro's financial projections!

And Silverbolt looks... adequate. I'm going to have to get him for completeness for the Maximal crew, but I can't say he's particularly exciting. Certainly a good representation, looks nice - just not exciting.

Blimey. Unusual arrangement for the wheels in chopper mode. That looks like fun.

Nice. A Leader class toy that seems to be slightly smaller than the previous Voyager incarnation of the character and which has assembly issues out of the box. That'll get them flying off shelves!

Yeah. Any lingering temptation gone out the window. Not paying £55 for something not put together properly.

Nice to see text reviews! Hope they start making a bit more of a comeback.
I'm increasingly sold on Cyb Starscream. Something about him looks kind of Siege-ish, I think he'd look pretty good with some battle damage.

Nice to see text reviews! Hope they start making a bit more of a comeback. I try to keep an eye out for decent ones in advance of us having the toys I'm increasingly sold on Cyb Starscream. Something about him looks kind of Siege-ish, I think he'd look pretty good with some battle damage. As long as it's an option on a later version and not on the first

The dry-brushing on the deluxes, e.g. Sideswipe's shins was a nice touch that made the figures unique - I remember standing in Smyths (or was it still TRU at the time?) deciding which one to buy based on that.
