What nicknames are you known by, or have been known by in the past? What nicknames have you given to other people?
The ruder the better! Don't let me down, Doc'!
I get called Cookie at work, which is nice. After I revealed how quickly me and the wife got pregnant they called me 'Superspunk'f or a while, which as nicknames go is a bit crude, but fairly cool. (shows you what kind of senses of humour ambulance personel have!).
Mrs Shockprowl has taken to calling me EE, an old baby name my parents used to call me! (thanks mum and dad).
I'm not allowed to call Piglet Piglet to her face anymore, haven't been for a while infact, she does get called treacle spounge on occassion.
And I call my brother Ape-Face. Mainly 'cos he's got a distinctly large cranial ridge above the eyes, and his upper arms are disproportionaly long. It's true. I'm sure he's a human/monkey hybrid or something.

I've never tended to attract nicknames. There was a brief period at primary 7 when Peter Whatshisname took to calling me Hippy, for reasons that never became clear.
One of the students at my recent Uni stint took to calling me Spidey from very early on, for reasons that never became clear.

Most of the people at my workplace have nicknames based on their surnames including me.

Well, there's a few people on this board who insist on calling me ginger permboy on occasion when they can't quite handle their beers.
When I was at school there was a boy who used to call me Ahernia. I used to call him wanker.
Finally, my first name tends to lead to some rather irritating and obvious variations.

There was a bloke who used to work at my workplace called Richard and once he said something to a fellow workmate (I can't remember what it was) who then replied with something in the line of 'do you always have to be like that?' Richard then said back 'I can't help it. All Richard's are the same.' Another workmate then replied to that comment by saying 'yer, they're all Dicks!'

Excellent. He'll be enraged when he sees this.
