10's an interesting choice for the first Pertwee. I'd have guessed 11 or 8. Urgh. I wish they'd see sense and reissue season 12. I'm not buying these until I can get them in a uniform format. Baffling that they're not keeping them in print. I'm the sort of person that if I can't get a set, I won't get any. Same here. I lost interest when I could not get the 1st released set. -Ralph

Saw the TARDIS and the 13th Doctor at Maddame Tussaud's Blackpool. She is shorter than I thought she is! The TARDIS is fabulous. Screen used! You are allowed to touch it!

Buggered if I could find the DWA Special today. I want the tat it comes with! -Ralph Finally found it after over three weeks of searching! A very bright and colourful special for kids. Has a very nice design approach to it. Includes a 5-page comic strip, four postcards and loads of cheery stickers. Perfectly decent for younger children. I suspect, however, that the double-whammy of it coming out after the last series was aired and being very poorly distributed means it will not be a big seller. -Ralph

My guess would be the first CB set being 22 and there's a new extra about guest stars cooking stuff from the Downie cookbook, originally published the year after, linked to Shockeye's exploits.

Rather pleased to have found this wikipedia entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jekka_McVicarThe lass in question makes a brief appearance in Doctor Who. Your mission is to tell me which story and who she plays.

Ooops, not spotted that! It's one of those stupid pages that doesn't have someone's achievements in chronological order
But getting to that wikipedia page from her maiden name on the cast list was a complete pig! It's only by stumbling over her discogs entry that I found the band she was in which then linked to that.
Having been stuck for months, not helped by not being here a lot, I've FINALLY got moving again on the DW blogging this week

We were some way off being in real trouble..... But there's something I want to do in the nearish (2+years) which needs the foreseeable future after that cleared on the 50th blog.
I'm 29 episodes shy of achieving that goal

A reminder that the Dalek stories start at 6pm every night on Twitch (UK time) from this evening (not everyone has these on DVD for instance). The non-Nation ones have not been streamed before!
