So I been watching DS9 for the first time in decades (almost finished with season 7 now), and there's one thing I want more than anything else...
I want to see the outtakes from anytime Wallace Shawn is on camera. Because I need to see how anyone kept a straight face anytime they had to play off him. Especially Nana Visiter.

This summer marks the 30th anniversary of the greatest Star Trek film. Forget Earth Girls are Easy, it's also 30 years since the release of The Final Frontier!

I'm now watching Enterprise for the first time in ages. And about half way through season one.
I know I've mentioned this before, but I don't remember it being this bad... but what the hell is up with Scott Bakula? He's not generally a bad actor, but everything he does and says as Archer, is like he's delivering a well rehearsed speech in front of an assembly. In Quantum Leap, he was really good as Dr Becket. That showed he could have some hellacious range. His current role in NCIS (or whatever) he's pretty good, too (what little I've seen).

This is why Enterprise used to be fun to watch. It is So Serious.

The Archer Scowl (which gets more pronounced as the series goes on) is always amusing.

'4DX' is using environmental effects to enhance the feeling that you are there! So, going by memory, you need to make them feel like they're in an arid desert, then falling off a mountain, then in front of a camp fire, then witnessing the Uhura dance for real, then in a phaser battle, then wrestling a tiger lady, then mind-melding with a crazy Vulcan and re-living your most painful memories, then experiencing the aroma of the bridge of a Klingon Bird of Prey, then chased by an evil god, then campfire time again with surround-sound sing-along. Easy. Martin

"I've always known, I'd die alone..."
How?!?! How could you possibly 'know' that?! Now, don't get me wrong, I love a bit of James T, but honestly, what a drama queen.
And he's wrong! 'Cos Picard's there when he dies...

So I suppose it'd be wrong of me to remind Ralph that in time, we'll be dancing in the streets all night?
And that everything will be all right?

'Cos Picard's there when he dies... To be fair, he'd have sounded more foolish if he'd said "I've always known I'll die alone, except for the captain of an Enterprise from the future who hasn't been born yet." Martin
