Seeing its 68 pages- i'd like to see Starscream spread across the first 5 issues - an issue 22 pages each, then if UK story in at 10 pages - with also animated one 10 pages [with 14 pages for other items {contents, cover, letters ads}] so that covers that leave 12 pages. so 6 pages of each prequal title? 1 issue spread across 4 issues. if every issue is 68 pages.

The preview in #25 said it'll be a "GIANT SIZED ISSUE", so I assume they won't all be 68 pages, just this one.
Which would make it the fourth consecutive GIANT SIZED ISSUE in a row.

But i hope they print the 3 inbetween series in order.
Starscream first then the other 2 at same time. expect Titan skips the 4 issue movie comic like they did before so have to get the trade.

Good news everyone! First issue of the second issue comes with an TFA sticker book! (with ROTF bit). Unfortunately it's now a two-strip affair with the second being AHM <shudder>.
Not read it yet, but flicking through there are lots of competitions: Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Turtles cartoon (the rubbish one) but best of all: Win a walk on part in Transformers comic!

They promised an official movie strip prequel! Is that not in then? The original strip's good though, right? best of all: Win a walk on part in Transformers comic! Oh EXCELLENT.

Well if anything, that will probably work in its favour, since one of the main problems with AHM was how it disregarded what had gone before whilst pretending it wasn't.
In Titan, it will look like a fresh reboot story, so may read better in that respect at least.
Or maybe they'll do something bold and miss out pages to shorten it. Heck you could easily just not includes issues 2&3 and you wouldn't miss anything from the story apart from some humans standing about and Decepticons blowing things up.

In Titan, it will look like a fresh reboot story Until they start bringing up Headmaster Sunstreaker. ...actually, if they deliberately miss out whole issues and scenes, I'll like this more idea more. ;D

Oh FFS!
Starscream is no longer answering the letters pages.
And they're doing AHM. To quote the letters pages: '...there are no plans to reprint 'Reign of Starscream' or other IDW story arcs right now. All Hail Megatron will run for 12 issues'.
Balls! To Amazon for the 'Alliance' and 'Defiance' trades then!

Well the tale of Headmaster Sunstreaker as told in AHM, and what actually happened in the 'ations are so completely different that it might as well be a different continuity.

Starscream is no longer answering the letters pages. Has he been replaced with another Transformer or with a person? The original strip better be bloody good at this rate... EDIT: Do you think this is what the "And Punishment!" part on the cover refers to?

They printed the first issue of AHM in its entirety in issue 1 so (fingers crossed) the story will be over in a years time if they print one full issue of it per UK issue. If however, they start cutting some of the issues in half like they did with Megatron Origin etc. we may have to endure a much longer pain.

Barricade and Ironhide now answer the letters. I shall write in demanding the reinstatement of Starscream.

Barricade and Ironhide now answer the letters. Oh thank god, I thought they'd gone back to humans doing it. Barricade can be a dick too!

It still upsets me though.
What a double whammy of annoyance when I opened up the comic. No Starscream's Letters and All Hail Fucking Megatron!
I shall have some calming ginger beer before reading the main strip.

The more I think of it, the less sense printing AHM makes - especially as it means the movie comic that ties into the movie and comes out the same week as the movie has a G1 reprint. Surely Alliance and Defiance would make more sense!
EDIT: Don't spoil the real strip, Ralph!

I suggest we all enter the competition to appear in a future issue of the comic strip and see who wins if any of us at all!

I will!
I have read the main strip now and feel much calmer. The usual fun. Jon Davis-Hunt really has been a find since the UK comic started back up.

That's a bad move not printed the 3 Movie lead ins, so we dont get the Movie comic itself printed again like before too.

I think what Titan are trying to do is print a back-up story that has little of no relevance to the main strip much like what Marvel UK did with it various back-up strips but the've picked the wrong story as a back-up this time.

Imagine if they'd reprinted Marvel US #1-12 instead! (They seem to be able to get away with Spidey and Circuit-Breaker being in reprints)

Yeah pity about Starscream being replaced, though he is doing horoscopes now. Some are quite funny.

AHM #1 hasn't gottten any better. On the plus side, the real strip is a blast - and apparently we're getting a regular artist from now one, which is a slight pity cos I was enjoying the various styles but will give us some consistency. Starscream's Stars is great fun, I like how the quiz deliberately has harder questions for older nerds, and the new letter's page is a more than adequete replacement for Star Screams!

Yip, but I really like Davis-Hunt's style and am glad he's got a regular gig. The lettering is also much better now. I have written to Barricade demanding he step aside for Starscream to rule the letters section, as is right and just. -Ralph
