Has anyone noticed how in the micromaster teams (the 4 pack ones) are basically all pairs of the same colours, but reversed.
Such as Freewheeler, and Swindler are both grey and blue, but the parts that are those colours on each are reversed between them (like one has grey limbs, and a blue body, and the other has blue limbs and a grey body)
I just noticed this today, anyone else?

I think they were gang-moulded to save on production costs.
You'll also notice that the Air Strike Patrol moulds used for the "commanders" of the larger bases also share colours.

Other gang-molded figures include Spychangers and some Minicons

I wonder if the Constructicons and the like were gang-moulded?

Has anyone noticed how in the micromaster teams (the 4 pack ones) are basically all pairs of the same colours, but reversed. yes I've been pointing this out right through the team reviews. There's a couple of teams which use an extra colour for certain parts - Construction & Military spring to mind. As for the original Constructicons being gang moulded.... you're probably best looking at the Diaclone versions here which havedifferent colour vehicles. See www.diaclone.net/orid/list.html and search for d-84
