He's been logging in every day and browsing the forums, but setting his online status to "invisible" for whatever reason.
I know all!!!! *evil laughter, followed by sipping tea with an erect little finger*

I too can see you when 'invisible' due to my GodMod status.

It makes a mockery of the privacy of people on the forum doesn't it?
I've been missing for a little while because I get these periods where I can't be bothered to post anything on the forum. I still like to keep up to date on what's going on though and setting myself to invisible is my way to browse the forum on occasion without people wondering why I'm lurking but not posting anything.

There's a much easier way - log out and only log in when you want to post. I always start browsing the forum while logged out and only log in if I decide I want to post. Martin

I only told Shockprowl. The rest of you shouldn't have read my reply. That was inappropriate.

If you can find the many posts* were the mods point out that people are invisible down the bottom of the screen, feel free. This is probaly one of the most lightly modded boards you'll find online. -Ralph *Other than the good humoured posts in this thread, naturally.

Yeah, we disabled that feature when Cullen used to regale us with his fizzy gravy tales.

What you really need to do to stay hidden is not log on and also change your IP address every time you visit.....

I used to stand at the bottom of peoples beds whilst invisible and watched them sleep. Then I found out Graham could see me and he outed my secret on a public forum. He ruined everything. Ruiner!

What you really need to do to stay hidden is not log on and also change your IP address every time you visit..... Or, even better, leave and never come back. That'll fool 'em! Into thinking... you've left... and not come back. Or something! But they'll be sorry. Either that, or they won't give a fig. Either way, _you'll_ never know! Ahem. Martin

Whereas I'm lazy and am always logged in ! I do that also. I must be the most popular person to go missing at the moment because whenever anybody else doesn't post for a while nobody blinks an eyelid! Hang on a minute. I'm supposed to be taking a break from posting on here so why am I posting on here?
