Morning. Stayed up late to bid on a group of Breastforce figures. I won yay! Up early to wait for the army of Punch Counterpunchs and Cyclonus' that I ransomed from customs over the weekend.
So a tired start to the week.
And as I wrote that, the toys arrived.

Yay for toys arriving!
I'm hoping my Seacons arrive in the next few days.
How's about quick reviews of the C/PC and Cyclonus?

I was just thinking about that. I'm just in the process of checking them all over. Don't want to miss anything like I did with the botcon figures. I never imagined opening 2 TFs would be boring, but when they're all one of two TFs it gets tedious.
My first thought on them is that the Cyconus mould has now been used for more good guys than bad guys. Unless you count the Henkei and Universe releases as different characters. Also PCP is/are the 6/7th (if including G2 Sideswipe) use of the mould and this is only the second time the Sunstreaker transformation has been used.

This week I'm thinking of going the gym, watching Inception, clearing out some dvds, putting pictures on facebook and trying to entertain myself without spending too much monies. Here goes.

I have just discovered several hundred pounds missing from my bank account. Quick statement check reveals bank error. I am shortly to make a trip to the local branch to shout at someone, for the timing of this could not possibly be worse given my current situation.

Chap in bank did his best, but the bank overall can do nothing. Other steps being taken.
Spent the afternoon trying to do interview prep for Wednesday and have achieved very little. I curse myself sometimes for the way my brain sometimes just does not get into gear without a tight deadline.

If it is a bank error surely the bank can sort it out??
Hope Wednesday goes well!

If it is a bank error surely the bank can sort it out?? No, no they can't other than say sorry. Welcome to the way banking works. Not the first bank to fuck me over, probably not the last. If it wasn't for the assistance of family in this case I would be in deep soapy bubble. Given up job prep. Nothing is sinking in. Foul weather has meant no walk this evening so catching up on podcasts instead. Phoned in repair to letting agency first thing. Did they bother to get back to me during the day? Of course not! -Ralph

I'm still waiting for my ceiling to be repaired four months after it almost fell in on me during the night!

Had a great time yesterday drawing a road track on card at work for a lad who brought in an RPM Optimus Prime. We have some RPMs of our own at the pre-school (Bonecrusher. Barricade, Bumblebee etc) but cant find where we stored them.
Sadly I'm off poorly today, and I may have to stay off tomorrow due to the 48 hour policy we have. I got stomach lurgy and got told to stay at home...

My back's as stiff as a board today due to spending nthe night sleeping on the floor in an attempt to encourage Jonathan back to sleep. Well it worked cos it's 7:30 and he's still asleep. I unfortunately have been awake since 5:30 with cramp !

Yeah, we went through a 'non-sleeping' phase, with one of us sleeping on the floor next to the little unsleepable fiend.

Pretty nervous about tomorrow's job interview. At least it's early doors so not long to feel terror. There's a 'test' to begin with, apparently, which I dread far more than talking to people because I don't know what it is and could be fooked before I even get to the chatting bit. Argh.

I unfortunately have been awake since 5:30 with cramp ! He's slept through ! Unfortunately I woke at 5:15, lord knows why, and Mum's been up all night with her elderly dog who's not well in a possibly on it's last legs type way. However dog is 16 and we've thought he's going to pop it many times before now!

Did the interview. Hard to tell how it went (competency based ones always are) but I flunked the test beforehand big time so I'm not hopeful.

Monday. I'll start prep on that tomorrow morning. None of the other applications have yielded a response so I'm bricking it now. This one has a presentation to do so I'm off to hunt for a certain stationery item this afternoon.

My lovely relaxing peaceful holiday has now been disrupted by my sister blowing up her car, which now my parents apparently have to pay to have repaired (£1100!!!!!) which has caused everyone apart from me to get all stressy.
Ralph - good luck! As someone who sometimes has to administer those tests, they're usually used to sift people BEFORE interviews, if they gave you the test at the same time as the interview that means they're probably not as concerned with the test results.

Just collected my new glasses this afternoon. Yay! They have transistor lenses, which make me look like a film star when I come in from outside.
Worryingly though, my eye sight is deteriorating as I needed a stronger prescription this time
