I've still got sore feet from me walking backwards and forwards from my hotel to the convention. The hotel I was staying at was a good fifteen minute walk from the convention and I made many trips back and forth throughout the weekend. Next year I think I'll stay somewhere closer.

I have sore feet, but that was due to standing around/running around like a blue-arsed flea for three days.

AA vids are done and up, flat inspection by letting agency out the way with no issues. Went for a walk along the canal to clear my head though became enraged by cyclists. Not had energy yet to properly got through my haul though I have been playing with Spinister and he's tops.

Unsurprisingly, AAA week is unremarkable in the McV household, except that it's sandwiched between two weeks of leave.
Following on from a weekend of storytellers, gardening, wild dormice and stumbling through Jules Verne's 'From the Earth to the Moon' in French I have had a quiet couple of days catching up with work in the office while my boss is away - though I have been drafted to join a conference call tomorrow with Defra to tell them all about some subject I know very little about, which should be fun.
Tonight I am microwaving Heinz ravioli in a bowl with chopped fresh mushrooms and mixed herbs, and eating it with a bake-in-the-oven baguette, prior to watching some programmes about King Arthur on BBC4 from 9.

Been working on my own little vlogging serial. I might have spoken about it before but ages ago. Its going to be about toys and stuff but also other goodness. Not strictly or limited to Transformers either.
I shot a load of footage last week for one ep in the Attic of Joy. So far I've been just shooting lots of stuff and mounting up enough vids to make a lot of stuff with.
Just stuck on a name...

Hello Sportsfans!
Glad you all had a good time at AA. I have already mentioned going next year to Mrs Shockprowl. She just shuck her head and said "don't spend too much!".
Sounds like the AAers came home with fine hauls, looking forward to viewing Doc's account later!

If you go next year, you could ask the artists present to draw Prowl for you.

I will wait on details for that. I am committed to attending AA 2011 and would also prioritise fan meets though. So we shall see.

You might find a Prowl or Shockwave toy you don't own..... Well, I don't own 'The Big One' (ie G1 Shockwave). But I don't think there's any Prowls I don't own, not proper Prowl's anyway. eg I have no interest in the Fire Cheif car that's called Prowl. He aint Prowl, baby!

Prowl is a police vehicle of some description, dude. Or an Owl. Or Lion. Or Cybertronian Policy car thing. Wouldn't mind a triple changing Prowl that has a space ship mode neither, but he'd have to have a police car mode as well. I also don't have that crazy red and blue mini-con recolour either. Think I've got alllll the others.

Gone down another jeans size. I'm on a roll, but got to keep a steady weight loss pace. Sorting through lots of junk... I might be giving some tat away if people want it. Been painting the babys room as well. Just trying to find the right colour scheme and get it right. I have a decent My Little Pony Theme in mind and its going to take a bit of trial and error to get right but I think it will be good in the end. So far... one of the walls looks Snake Mountain Purple, but that's just the first colour I'm using. Coupled with the different shades of pink, cream etc I think I can pull off something nice and girly. If... the baby turns out to be a boy after all, he's gonna have to make do for a while . ===KEN

Pretty fucking depressed. Partly due to post-AA blues and partly as outstanding job apps have run out again. Couldn't find much today though sent off a spec app for something completely different and started on another one which is quite an involved and difficult form so I shall force myself to get up early tomorrow to get it done and sent.
Been in all day so a walk to pick up this month's DWM and to catch this weeks TFW2005 podcast on the MP3 player are in order.
Picked up vols 1-6 of TF Animated on the cheap as I want to re-appraise it and I gave up on it halfway through s1 first time round so lots to see. Just having trouble finding the pilot movie on DVD as it's out of print. I did enjoy the pilot back in the day.
I am now on strict rationing of money. No more luxury purchases this side of a new job. I can't sign on you see because I resigned from my last job. The rules say you can't for 6 months.

Hope things look up for you Ralph. I too could be in a simular position job-wise soon. I thought it was 6 weeks to sign on, not 6 months. That's harsh either way. How much did Animated set you back? ===KEN

£3/£4 a pop in HMV.
The rules of Job Seeker's Allowance are that if you resign you have made yourself voluntarily unemployed so can go fuck yourself.

Um yes! I think I should invest in some of those 'for my daughter'.
Job Centre might as well word those rules the way you did Ralph. That's just plain nasty! What about people who have to leave a job under circumstance. As I said before, I hope things look up soon.

My brain is flowing out of my eyes & ears. I've spent the last day and a bit writing a series of toy reviews covering a certain non-Seacon combiner.
Bed calls. But hopefully I can unveil the fruits of my labour in the morning.

Taken a week off work to do some work on the PhD. Sadly I seem to be doing more reading than writing. Although I have become obsessed with these transparent sticky highlighting strips that I can use to highlight things without destroying my books and journals.
