Got that job app done. I saw the company also had another 2 jobs going when I was double checking the website. Closing date was a couple of weeks away but thought it best to fire in apps for them too at the same time.
Been inside all day, so I'll pop a podcast on the MP3 and go for a walk. I need to get some camera batteries too.

Off work again for the next week and a day, this time just lazing about in Cardiff. Nothing scheduled for the week except a boiler service on Monday morning and a visit from my parents to see a Welsh male voice choir on the following (Bank Holiday) Monday. Hope to spend most of the rest of the week off reading, brushing up on my (piano) keyboard stuff and having some good pub lunches in my local. Decadence!

Hey Martin, you should go and see Craig Bellamy's first game for Cardiff (if that means anything to you), surely the biggest thing to hit the city ever!

An interesting day at work was had yesterday. We all came back from our dinner break and the fire alarm went off (a fire alarm going off on a Friday - its unheard of!) forcing us all out into the pouring rain. We all got a few steps outside when we were all called back in because it was a false alarm. After the shift ended some of us went into the canteen and currently showing on the TV in the canteen was something we had never seen on it before. Usually the canteen TV is plagued by shows such as Bargain Hunt but this day somebody had switched over to one of sex chatline channels on Sky. Instead of watching a few people walking around craft fairs and picking up a few antiques we got instead a woman dressed only in her underwear writhing around on a sofa and talking to somebody down a phone whilst touching herself!

If not, I haven't a clue who he is. (I don't follow sport.) Craig Bellamy is a top level footballer who fell out of flavour at this club and has dropped down a division to play for Cardiff, and it's his debut today. Obviously my post about it being the biggest thing to hit the city ever was tongue in cheek, but I was wondering if it was a big enough event in the city for non sport people to be aware of it.

Car Boot cancelled for the 2nd week in a row due to rainfall.
Have been up since 3am last night as next door were having another party and thumping thier r&b music through the walls.
Large family funtcion at Berkely Castle later today. I'll need to take it easy or at least dose up on the pro plus. Meeting lots of second cousins, accendants etc for the first time and will get to play with my nephews. Should be fun if I can stay awake.

It is a lot better than my previous place but it's still run by gaffers who are very tight with their money. Nevertheless, the management keep out of everybody's way (unlike my last place) and the only problems I'm having is that I have to work with people who are massive Big Brother, Eastenders and X Factor fans who think that Transformers are for kids.

Wow. I am behind on things . Glad you got out of that other place. Fair play. At least Big Brother is ending soon, so that's one of the evil triad done with. I've had plenty of work colleagues who have the same outlook (oh, and say wrestling is 'fake' too) . To each thier own. ===KEN

...I have to work with people who are massive Big Brother, Eastenders and X Factor fans who think that Transformers are for kids. DAMN THEM TO HELL!!! Especially for watching Eastenders! I hate soap operas more than I hate Animated Voyager Megatron or Movie Mudflap and skids! I'm off to work in a mo to play with the drunk little boys and girls. Had a not so young drunk man last night dressed as what I believe was Spiderman's villian, The Vulture! Turned out he was actually dressed as a 'Fallen Angel'. Whatever. Vulture would have been better. Still, last shift tonight, then a week off! Barf Barf!

Apparently Cardiff won a decisive victory and the opposition failed to score. Since I don't follow football, I must fall back on decisive victories I have known and shall therefore imagine it happened something like this: Martin

Ian. I think the Vulture guy was probably trying to be Christopher Daniels. If you follow wrestling you'll prolly know who I mean. He's bald and is ... a fallen angel.
The family gathering I could'nt make in the end. My mum has assured me there is another one later this year as quite a few other family people could not make it today.
Sat at home and chilled and watched The Thin Blue Line. Just started the first season and first 4 episodes in.

I finally sat down to read this year's Botcon comic. But it seems Bogatan has played an elaborate trick on me, and put in my box set a terrible, terrible parody comic. When can I have the real one?
