I bet it'll be transparent next week. I think their distribution works a few weeks in advance*, so this one may have come direct instead of through the usual process.
*Their automatic sub renewal used to come so late that if you relied on that rather than renewing manually, you'd miss two issues.

The stories in the digest Andy mentioned are in the bigger trade collection you've bought. They're really interesting time pieces, very 90s in style but the art is lavish to say the least. I think I'm right in saying that originally they weren't in 2000AD itself, they were published as specials. Not something you'd find in the Hachette run either.

You are correct.
2000ad published Judgement on Gotham is a nice prestige format edition - like the Titan trades of the day and then in a slightly cheaper magazine edition. DC put out a US sized prestige format edition.
Vendetta on Gotham - I only ever saw a magazine edition of it, and the US prestige format edition.

Caught up on four months of Tooth, 3 issues behind on Megazine.
Most stuff in Tooth is good though I still have not the slightest clue what Brass Sun is about.

I'd lost track of Brass Sun and had all bar given up reading it, so I read books one to four straight through and reconnected with it. Really enjoyed it that way. It was doing that at Christmas that settled me on going back to reading the prog in chunks.

Hachette Day!
Issue 86 / Volume 82 Day of Chaos: Aftermath
1792-96 Debris 1798-99 Innocent 1801-02 Payback 1804-05 Asleep 1816 Sealed 1819 Save Him 1820-22 Wolves 1824-25 Cypher 1826-29 Suicide Watch 1830-35 The Forsaken 1836 Skulls 1845-49 Bender 1858-61 Ferals
Bit of a boob with this one because Debris was also in Volume 55. First time a story has been duplicated. However, it is a heck of a thick book covering 38 progs of Dredd.
Issue 87 / Volume 90 Lawless
350-354 Welcome to Badrock 361-366 Between Badrock and a Hard Place 371-376 Of Munce and Men 380-385 Long-Range War

Sad to think that because of the nature of the collection Lawless will remain incomplete, but it's great to have those first four stories in a quality book.

Yes, this book has four of the five Lawless stories in it. It's probably a bit much to expect the one that has just finished to be included as it hasn't been collected under its own name yet, presumably that will happen after the sixth story is printed, but as the JD collection is ending next month, there won't be another Lawless book in that format.
Tis the nature of the beast. Any series still ongoing in the meg or prog are going to be incomplete in a partwork that has an end point. That was why the TF one suddenly became appealing, because it looks like it might just last long enough to include everything up to the reboot making a natural end.

This is a great pair and my first time reading Lawless. Matt Smith's intro uses it to try and get you to buy the Meg to continue reading the story!
Re: Debris, the company line is it's important for the rest of the stories in the book so they thought they'd put it in anyway. They could have just left it out and it would still have been a good sized volume, but at least this way we don't have to ever look at the Heavy Mob volume again. And, at the time that book came out the extension wasn't planned either.

tomwe , have you read Insurrection? Lawless follows on from that somewhat .... Certainly, it was issue 67 of the partwork. Epic stuff! Colin MacNeil's been one of my faves since Chopper.

Although it's not explicitly stated, IIRC the planet in Lawless is the location of one of the last Zhind battles in Insurrection.
Other connections will become apparent....

Oh yes, it's quite possible to. But if you get the opportunity do read Insurrection.
A certain background plot element requires Insurrection for you to understand exactly what's going on. You can get the general feel without but ..... Eventually this is going to end up front & centre instead of just rumbling in the background. Insurrection also makes it clear why the Zhind are such a threat.

Ta, need to order that and the ABC Warriors volume from the website. Spare cash, ordered this morning. Arrived yesterday I suspect someone spotted a print error and halted the shipment. I am now permanently six weeks behind on the TF one as a direct subscriber bit don't seem to get volumes with errors in any more. There's a massive howler in Matt Smith's intro!

Having read about the FCBD issue in this month's Meg, I'm intrigued by the concept. It's a bold idea in the current comics climate. I'm fascinated to see what comes of it.
