I am tempted to try these out but it all depends on the price-point. For instance, I love LEGO but don't buy much of it due to the insane prices.

While we haven't yet heard anything about UK release, there's reassurance in the form of a 2-page general boy's toys advert that Hasbro has in the latest Toy News. It features just six brands, equally promininent: Marvel, Dark of the Moon, Star Wars, Beyblade, Nerf and Kreo-O.

Reading David Willis' blog, he says the sets have pieces specific to Robot and Vehicle modes, so each assembly has pieces left over (at least for small Bumblebee and Ratchet.)
Means the implementation of a good concept is flawed. Sigh.
