Happy Birthday Mr S ! This week finds us with a well baby, an improved but not OK Liz who's managed to get a cancellation to see the local physio, and a knackered Phil. Always a struggle around now anyway - recent recruits to the Hub might care to glance here to find out why. Shoulder and neck are killing me, pulled muscle or similar.

Happy birthday Shockprowl! While looking for the birthdays notification at the bottom of the page, I noticed that all the ads at the top are for shops selling TFs while all the ones at the bottom are all for curry.
Excellent.

They know us so well....adbots. It's true. The adbots know us too well. I have end-of-term fatigue big time. Just knackered, the tirednes has built up over the last couple of weeks. Just the rest of this week and some stuff next Monday and I can relax for 3 weeks. And yet, I know full well from looking at the schedule that term 1 is a picnic compared to terms 2 and 3. Prepare for bald Ralph by the summer! Wahahhahahahahhahahahhahaha fallooooooooooooooo! -Ralph

Woo! Celebrations! In fact...
Are our Glaswegian/Scottish/Any Hubbers adverse to a Christmas drink in a...pub this year?! At least once in my life I'd like to be able to talk about Blitzwing whilst slightly sloshed in a Wetherspoons or something.

I am sure I can make my way to a suitable drinking establishment should the Hub signal be launched.

If it's during the week and I can crash at Burns manor then I feel I should be okay to appear.

Would love to meet up, but being in East Sussex (near enough to the sea that William the Conquorer tramped through my back garden) it'll be a mite tricky. I'll be raising a glass to you anyway!

When we say next Thursday, I take it we mean Thursday 20th? Or are we talking about this Thursday coming? (I might be able to make Thursday 20th but not until the evening. Don't think that this Thursday is doable unfortunately)

That is indeed what we mean. I suggest upstairs in the Weatherspoons opposite Woolies near Central Station. I forget what it's called. Cheap-ish, not too mobbed.

Crystal Palace? Seconded. Thirded. I rather like the Crystal Palace. I won't be over till nearer 6.30 - 7.00. By the time I finish work and catch a train at about half-five it'll take me that long to make landing on Planet Glasgow. Can't stay out too late either. I have to be in work on the Friday unfortunately. Karl

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Week 50 thread. -Ralph Indeed! I had a bit of comedy to start out the day today. I went to put the wheelie bin out (it has to be lugged down three steps and around the side of the house), not realising how slippery it was. Got to the top of the steps edging backwards pulling the wheelie bin behind me.... Next thing I knew I was in the air doing a neat 180 reversal. I fetched up at the bottom of the three steps, on my back, pointed the opposite way round to that I had started. If anyone had been watching this morning it would have been a fine moment of comedy for them. Next week the bin gets to go down the steps first...... Karl
