This post is in response to one by a member whose posts were deleted which is why the thread has an odd start.
Yikes! I hope it wasn't anything to do with my packaging. The one I've played with seemed really sturdy. If you could post a pic of the damage I might be able to come up with a way to fix it.

Speaking of packaging, I received that Spinister from you on Friday! Many thanks, mate! I doubt your packaging could have been at fault in AC's case if Spinister is anything to go by- he was packed like he was going to be fired into space!

Best advice is to get the smallest drill bit you can find, drill two holes in each side, and superglue a peg into the two holes to hold it in place.

I've used superglue on plastics since I was wee. It does the job pretty well, as long as you don't put too much strain on it afterwards. There's always araldite or epoxy resin if you'd prefer an alternative, though they can be fiddly to work with.

I'll give epoxy a go, that should do the trick. Hopefully. Just need to track down a good epoxy (my dad should know, hopefully).

So i finally got around to a proper damage assessment of my precious Sky-Byte after scouring my little brother's room (where i found him, lying there like...like a mere toy) for missing parts. It...i-it isn't pretty... If anyone has any spare parts, to help undo this wanton destruction, they are greatly appreciated. I managed to find one of his feet though, which is always good. The rest are lost to the aether. Look at his wee face!

I have a Transmetal II Cybershark kicking around in here... somewhere. Basically Sky-byte in green. I picked him up in Toys'r'us for 3 quid in 2001 back when I was just getting back into TF and was buying anything that wasn't nailed down. Would that do as a replacement, or does it have to be the real deal?

You shouldn't laugh at schoolgirls just because they've had their hair cut. That's mean.

I was idly browsing eBay over the weekend, wondering if I could find a nice Chromedome to replace* the one I had as a kid. Alas, for a nice boxed one it was too much for what I was willing to pay.
Are there any old Transformers you had/lost/broke as a kid and would want to replace now? How much would you be willing to pay?

Lord Zarek had to be the only Head/targetmaster we ever lost.
I think Ive got a spare headmaster head in there now but I dont think Id ever bother spending money to replace it properly.
My childhood G1 isnt something I plan on replacing and Id rather focus what money I have on new stuff.
I would one day like to find a replacement ladder for Hotspot (my joint first transformer) as mine snapped off then got lost under the fire for a few years and came out somewhat melty.

I have trauma related to the Constructicons. When I was a wee lad I saved up for three months and took 12 dollars to the store and bought the Devastor gift pack. I then went outside to play with my Constructicons. It was a lovely day. I warm, spring day, I was by a Pond called Fresh Pond, next to a golf course and surrounded by trees and couples going for walks. There was some sand, and I spent a wonderful few hours pretending to have the constructicons build things. Then I got home, opened my bag to take them out and...they were...ALL GONE!!! To this day I have no clue what happened. Did I actually get up and LEAVE ALL OF THEM WITH PARTS ON THE SAND!??! I refuse to believe I could have been that absent minded. Anyways...I saved and saved and saved for another few months and probably begged my folks as well and... bought all six of the constructicons individually. Hook didn't want to transform. We took him back to the store and the clerk transformed him for me... But that's an aside.... Anyways - I don't remember what happened to that batch of Constructicons - but by the time we up and left for Poland... I had only Scrapper and Scavenger In 1993, I bought all of the G2 yellow Constructicons... Don't even ask what happened to them... I did have a green Devastator - but he was tragically lost due to my ex-girlfriend... To this day - I weep every night that I do not have a mint condition G1 Devastator one day - I shall remedy this: hopefully Takara-Tomy will help me do it! pete
