Yeah I was looking at that until about 5 hours before the end. I think I'll just track down Monstructors combiner parts and paint them if neccesary.

I think I'll just track down Monstructors combiner parts and paint them if neccesary. How easy are they to cast? I have a complete Monstructor.

I have no idea having never even seen one in person. I suspect it would be pretty straight forward though. My only concern with casting stuff now is any part that's meant to hold together through tension as the resin will just bend.

From remembering the ones I used to own, they are pretty much like Micromasters, just a bit bigger, mostly held with screws and bars. Also very simple.

I have the figures and shells from Dinoking (junk lot from yahoo japan). Its just the combiner parts I've never seen. Everytime I went into Woolworths to buy something while Monstructor was out there was something else more desirable to buy.

I really can not imagine what I would ever do with all those.

That was the only combiner transport I owned back in the day. The most I paid for the other two was about 15 quid!
I guess somebody really wanted it. And somebody else really wanted it too, just slightly more.

Probably not. I guess people are wary because of the near-identical knockoff out there.

Q: I'm seeing plenty of year 2 packaged Micromasters on eBay. Are they genuine or KOs ?

If it's the Big Daddy etc wave, then yeah they're real. There was a warehouse find a while back, they're all Italian packaging if I recall correctly.

That price seems about right for them. The Hot Rod patrol is the most desirable of the three of course.

Of Course. Everyone needs Big Daddy
I've already got the Construction Patrol from that year which leaves me just the Race Track and Air Patrols from that year and the Rescue & Sports Car patrols from 89.

Of Course. Everyone needs Big Daddy I've already got the Construction Patrol from that year which leaves me just the Race Track and Air Patrols from that year and the Rescue & Sports Car patrols from 89. Due to a decent trio of BIN eBay Auctions that last paragraph now reads "I still need the Air Patrol"

They guys usually pretty honest with his auctions from what I've seen of them. And I don'tremember seeing many KOs that really match the slightly half arsed repaint that is Fire Chief.
Then again it looks kind of cheap.
