This week, age claims one of us, the rain may stop, Bogatan is off to Botcon and Nick is leaving the country again.

May have overdone the exercise yesterday and am paying for it a bit today, but feeling much better than last week.

Oh dear. I need to go to London today to get some school reports for the ASD assessment. But the rain is coming down so the CMT is unhappy and my tummy isn't feeling tops either.

I have felt steadily more energised as the day has gone on. Looking forward to putting in a day at work tomorrow. I shall have a mild walk this evening to keep the steady increase in exercise up.

Don't want to jinx it, but managed a walk without feeling exhausted for the first time in 3 weeks. It was nice to get back to the canal for a bit, especially as the swans now have 5 small signets!
The ducklings have really grown in the last 3 weeks!

Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better Ralph.
I have had a productive start to the week - after a slightly rocky start to the morning. I see summer has properly arrived. I can tell by the results of the ant census of my kitchen. As happens clockwork regularity they have established a colony under the slabs in my back garden. Time to take appropriate chemical countermeasures to prevent my redoubt from being overrun I think.....

KILL THEM.
Ants scare me witless. If I'm sitting outside and spot them, I have to move.

Working on it. Unfortunately it will be a while before I know whether the chemical ordnance has succeeded in killing the nest or whether I'll have to take off and nuke the site from orbit..... On another note, I have just tried to obtain a replacement hose for my vacumn cleaner (existing one having unravellled like and overstretched slinky...) and been advised by the distributors that "that is a part we haven't been able to get so I doubt you'd be able to get it". *sigh* So, my vacumn cleaner goes extinct due to the fact that parts for it are no longer manufactured.... I guess it is mid-season upgrade time then..... Karl

Went to work. By mid-day I was flagging, but caught a second win in the afternoon. I am glad to be off for the next 5 days though.
Looking at my diet, I'm just eating too much crap and lack of exercise recently is resulting in unhappy tummy. Post-birthday, time to get it under control again methinks!

As we know, one Dalek is enough to wipe out an entire Earth colony. Twenty six Daleks.... that makes your collection an extinction-level event across an entire spiral arm.....
