No sleep over the weekend, due to being a party animal, day off today. Thought I might sleep last night but turns out it was too damn hot (finally!) and I managed to only get around 4 hours or so and awake by 6 this morning. Grumpy day time!

Managed to get down to the station before the rain started this morning, and then to the office without it raining on Edinburgh. Whether this streak will continue on the way home this evening is less certain.
I feel pretty drained this morning, not that I was up to anything particularly noteworthy at the weekend. I think I am just in need of my upcoming trip away to help recharge the batteries.

Carried my jacket and umbrella in to office number 1 in the blazing sun this morning, hung them up on a coat stand and walked on to office number 2. At lunchtime I walked back from office 2 to office 1 in the pouring rain, missing my jacket and umbrella. Did a few more hours work in office number 1 and then carried my bone-dry jacket and umbrella home in the blazing sun.
Sigh. Well played, Martin.

This year has slowed right down for me. Can't believe Baby With No Name is nearly two weeks old! Seems faaaaarrrr longer.
Which reminds me, Baby With No Name now Has A Name...
And it is...
LUCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Not Prowl. Couldn't get away with that one. Nor Sentry.)
Only took us 12 days to decide! Well, only took Mrs Shockers 12 days, I'd pretty much made up my mind.
Wriggler continues to do very well, she really is UNFILLABLE. Mrs Shockers a tad worst for wear with a coupla things I wont bore you with, but she's hanging in there, bless her. 'Tis funny how one copes on little sleep. If I were functioning on this much sleep after a night shift I'd be like "no, screew it, eat my fat one 'n' leave me alone!" But currently I'm doing fine, just a bit slow-in-the-head. Wriggler's worth it, starting to get chubby- can't wait to squeeze her fat bits. Piglet not too happy with the name though, she was deadset on 'Kity', for some reason! Better than her first choice of 'Flower-blossom'! What are we, Hippees?!?!?!
Peace to you all, Cyber Chumbs!!!!!!!!

It was more that despite being trapped in valley of snow, he kept insisting on running at the hills to cause avalanches. But then the inexorable stuffed pandas came for us in the wooden house on the hill, arms outstretched: murder on their minds. -Ralph

A conversation with my boss, who lives in Stirling - the town where I did a lot of my growing up, revealed that at the bottom of the street that I used to walk up to the library (just across the road from the newsagent where I would often buy my Transformers comic) is now the haunt of folk selling hard drugs in the open air in broad daylight......
There is nothing that reminds you that "you can't go home again" so much as learning that a previously safe neighbourhood has turned into a Corner.

It is like that outside my old house too, where a doctors surgery is next door. Also the other neighbouring house last I heard is being made into a borstal home. My old neighbourhood was rough anyway, but my house and the 100 yard bubble radius around it was a better part of it. Now the Crow Lane mafia have made thier mark. ===KEN

Difficult night last night. Piping hot, so had short pyjamas on again. legs not comfortable - too hot under duvet, to cold on top. Solution: long pyjama trousers, no duvet. Curse you CMT and poor circulation!

Re-adjustments to my diet are going well. Cravings for snacks have decreased and I have fitted back in a t-shirt that was previously becoming uncomfortably tight. Huzzah.

Short week this week, a public holiday on Monday and the office is closed on Friday so I finish up this evening. Looking forward to the first of my airshow trifecta for this year. Been busy booking tickets for July stuff this week and my weekends are fair filling up, which is great.
Cinema trip to the Dark of the Moon yesterday, which fair took my mind of the string of low-level neighbour complaints I spent the rest of my day dealing with, that much is for sure.

Plumber coming tomorrow to replace leaky water tank, need to tidy house and bedroom somewhat before this happens.. Oh the life of a slob! Then a visit from a sales type person to quote me on a new front door, more excitement. Hopefully going to check out the 3d DOTM tomorrow evening too, that will be better!

My working week has ended... And tomorrow I am journeying southward in preparation for the RAF Waddington airshow - the RAF Red Arrows, the USAF Thunderbirds, the Jordanian Air Force's Falcons, Team Viper's Hawker Hunters....promises to be an absolutely cracking show. Hopefully should kick of my July in fine, fine style.

Water tank fitted today, incoming £600 bill, cannot wait for this one. Also quoted £1600 for a new front door, had to try very hard to not laugh out loud at this.
